Ok lang sakin to... just an added security measure.

Dating sakit na ng couriers ng Citibank yan, madalas nawawala statement dito sa amin, kaya puro delayed payment ko, in fairness naman, di nila ako sinisingil ng late charges.

    easy remedy:

check / verify your credit card statement / balance / usage thru the internet / phone.

mazdamazda: The issue here is the missplaced bank statement, its private information that is supposed to be between the bank and its client, what disturbs me is that its seems like a regular occurence... we already requested to pick up our statements from citibank but they declined.

if this is your point then you do have a point. at nasa lugar ka na magalit bilang a loyal customer of citibank credit card. kahit sinong company man yun (regardless kung citibank o yung contractor ng delivery services) will have immediate cause to terminate the said employee due to this single incident (unless na lang kung napaka lakas ng labor union ng kumpanya na yun)...

but then you don't have to be all upset about this too much. in the first place, when you got your card (or renewal cards, or supplemental cards, etc.), nakalagay kasama ng card kung kailan ang billing date ng card mo.... as far as the bank is concerned, you should know when the billing date of your card, and when the payment is due.... pag delayed na yung bill at wala ka pang natatanggap, you should know how much you used up in your credit card (at least your own purchases).. so kung tutuusin eh hindi mo kailangan intayin yung billing mo... you can pay your credit card bill kahit walang billing ng bank...

if and when you know na late ang billing or you misplace it... but you have an idea how much is due... you can also call their number and have a copy faxed over to you... just so you can verify how much your total amount due and your minimum amount due... so you really don't have to wait for your billing...

ngayon kapag laging late ang billing.. eh di tapusin mo lang yung taon tapos pa diskonek mo na.... pag tinanong nila bakit tinigil mo eh di sabihin mo.. tapos!! sa dami ng mga credit card companies na halos ipinamimigay lang yung 1st year eh di you can use that... no need to pay registration fee pa... i'm sure you'd have a new credit card from a different company.... basta ba good record ka...

kung sakali naman you find something wrong in the thought na you should know your own purchases and you shouldn't have to wait for the billing... then that's 1 big bad step towards your own financial ruin.... dahil hindi mo pala na mo-monitor ang mga gastusin mo... pero kapag iniintay mo naman yung billing just so you can find out how much yung minimum due mo kasi yun lang ang binabayaran mo... sad to say ay lulubog ka rin kung puro minimum amount due lang lagi ang binabayaran mo....

credit cards can be your best friend .... but they can also be your worst nightmare...

Complain mo na lang sa Compliance Department ng Citibank para made-service iyung Delivery company. It is usually outsource by the banks and other Credit companies. Mahirap kasi mag-complain thru phone kasi kausap mo are just call center agents. They will just logged your complain on their computers and that's it, bahala na si Batman.

Di rin natin masisi mga messenger when they sometimes lost billings huwag lang constantly being done. They are on streets the whole day. Mahirap mabilad sa araw. The wrong thing sa case ng mom mo is they forged her signature just to show that he indeed deliver the billing statement which is not tolerable.

This is also the issue aside from the misplace bank statements.

Well this involves our financial records... we simply just cannot accept that as an excuse. Sorry for sounding harsh but masama panahon ngayon...

Di call center agent kausap namin... its our personal banker.

Like I said, second bu-bu na ng Citibank to samin... the first one being my dad's Credit Card stolen during delivery and being used to buy $ 10K worth of goods.

ayos hehe... i had a feeling i was a bit off when i was typing off...

sorry po if i was ranting...

but now i get your point... checking account pala... what that guy did is really wrong... dapat nga matanggal yung kolokoy na yun.... and very much understandable yung reaction mo... and since you've complained na to your personal banker at nangyayari pa rin yun... i presume there's one big big big reason why you haven't changed banks (or even branch)...

citi, bpi n standard chartered n hsbc yata ganun....either delayed o d nagpapadala then charge interet n penalty then when you call up it takes 4ever to reverse the charges, if ur not attentive enough on the matter, you'll end up paying the charges anyway since nagpatongpatong na.

ILD, if your bank refuses for you to pick up your statement sa bank, i think u should find another bank na. if you think the volume of business you with your bank is significant, you have the right to tell them what you want done.....me, i did that na and you should see how the bank manager eacts when you ready to close your accounts o make a big withdrawal. hehehe.

i so agree with ILD, mahirap na ang panahon ngayon.... if your statement gets to the wrong hands (who knows the ins and outs of credit card statements), you'll be in serious trouble. Mauutak na kasi yang mga manggagantso ngayon eh...

I've had a very bitter encouter with Citibank some years back. My late father had a credit card from Citibank, which was given to him by the company that he worked for for his official use. A few weeks after my father died, I got a call from a Citibank lawyer asking me to pay for my fathers credit card debt. Even if we had proved (through my father's collection of all his Citibank purchase receipts) that he never used his Citibank card to purchase any personnal effects or to purchase any item for our home, Citibank still kept pestering us. At one point, their dumb-ass m******ker lawyer even told me that "ang utang ay namamana", and this is the reason why he asking us to pay. Where the f***k did he take his law studies? We refused to pay and never paid. Citibank resorted to every sort of tactic bordering on plaing thuggery and had tried to bully me to pay. Damn it, I was not even an extension card holder of my late father.

So, Citibank you say? That firm can rot in hell for all I care.
