^Minor damage. IMO, no need to repair it yet since it would be a waste. I'm not sure of that dark spot on the body, though. Is that rust or paint rub from the wall? I think you have to make sure this part has no paint chip or if it has been chipped off better apply some touch up paint asap bec. rust will set in. If its rusted already, better to have it repaired all together.

that the dark spot is the deep scratch, it's not rust or paint from the wall, the paint from the wall are the red scartches that you see. from how i see it parang steel and rubber, no idea bat may rubber? is that from the bumper, u think?baka di na kaya ng touch up paint

My brother and I used paint thinner to repair (though I would suggest kerosene if you are a newbie to these ghetto methods of auto repair) a Cefiro yesterday. The damage seems similar (naka-hagip ng tricycle). After the thinner, the area was washed and waxed. Good as new. Parang kinalmot na lang ng aso (may deep scratch na naiwan).

Just handpaint the deep scratch using a fine art brush and touch up paint. The dealer did give you the touch up paint, right?

The damage is too small. Lugi ka pa sa participation if you go through insurance. If you have it painted at a body shop, they will most likely charge you for two panels already (your haggling skills may vary).

Don't be too confident of the dealer. My friend had scratch on their then brand new AE92 Corolla. Casa repaint the hood. Pareho nung una. Pero as the paint aged, ang laki ng difference. Parang naagnas yung niretoke na part. He should have just gone to the professionals.

    nye, liit lang pala eh.
    agree with sir otep.
or pwede din scratch remover, but very light ang pag wipe. just like what we did to a friend's ride. tanggal yung mga light scratches and dirt from another paint. tapos wiped it clean, then applied wax. walah, di na halata.

Tiga-san ka ba? Kung nasa Quezon City ka lang, I'd be happy to erase the paint transfer. Huwag mo lang ipa-touch up sakin. Mahina ako sa mga artsy-artsy work. hehehe.

Yup, that's a two panel price. Ok yang dealer mo, mas mahal pa sa professional paint shop sumingil eh hindi naman din sobrang ganda ang results ng usual na gawa ng dealer (kadalasan subcontracted pa). hehehe. Industry standard is only Php3k per panel (Paintronixx even goes as low as Php2k per panel kahit madami na silang panalo sa shows). Php4k per panel is the usual charge in very high end facilties (the ones that do crash repairs and show car preparation).

yung mga sa side baka makaya pa ng rubbing compound pero yung deep scratch kelangan na ng professional help. I'm not really sure if its worth the participation fee that you'd have to pay by going thru the insurance route.

try to check around for spot paint repairs.. baka kaya pang habulin yung kulay. white naman e..

liit nga sya pero malalim e. if you look at the pic parang kinayod ng kutsilyo on purpose basta parang ganun kasi kanto ng poste tinamaan ko.so labas na yung steel part nung kotse may bonus pang rubber na kala ko bubblegum lang nung una .ano kaya yun?

No way is that kind of damage worth 10k. When the neighbor backed their Nissan Frontier into the Benz screwing up the quarter panel, metal work and paint totalled only Php3,800.00. And hindi naman bara-bara ang gawa.

File photo lang ito. Just to give an idea how strict we are with quality control.

It will not rust as long as hindi umabot sa bare metal yung gasgas. If there is still primer and paint prep (yung kulay lang ang naalis), protected pa din ang metal.
