10K Check-up

Hello, just wanted to share my experience sa FORD LIBIS regarding my 10k check up.

- Spent 14,200
- changed oil 9L
- change air filter (i do not think it is needed but he kinda forced it)

So, i went to ford LIBIS having the idea that i will be spending 8-9K since based on what i heard from other Ford eve user this is the typical range.

The initial estimate was 16K. my bad is that i didnt question, i just thought i was typically high since it was standard 10Kc check-up list.

when i returned he showed me a bill worth 14.2K! i was very disappointed coz of the super high prices.
- ~9.3K for the oil
- 3.5K for the air filter.

what i hate is that when i asked if can just reverse the charges for the filter, the agent said that it is possible but will void my warranty.. so i am kinda forced. I am not an expert but i really think that my air filter is still usable.

I also think that the oil is way over priced. more than the over pricing, i felt bad since i felt tricked into buying stuff that i do not need... Note that my mileage is ONLY 3,700Kms....

So net, I will NEVER GO TO FORD LIBIS.... will seek advice first and call on estimates on other ford dealers...


Anyway, just sharing.... i should have probed more when given the estimate vs blindly trusting... I have also seen some responses in the Viber group that they have 7K for their 10K checkup.

yes sir, checked the prices sa shell stations nasa 600-700 lang per L. and yes 9L talaga although i think tama naman since malaki talaga size ng makina. the prices lng talaga outrageous.

I think hindi standard ang prices for PMS ng iba't ibang branches. I paid P10k for PMS sa Ford BGC. P7k lang sa Ford Alabang.

Hi, first time owning an suv with beige interior and this is my only problem for now. How do you keep it clean mga sirs? 1 week pa unit ko pero marumi na in some parts. May jean stains na rin sa driver's seat. Any recommended cleaning materials that is effective and not too harmful sa leather?
I don't mind that this suv has a stiffer suspension than my old montero but a dirty interior is a much bigger headache for me. Anyone else that could relate?😁

Mine is Beige and nagbalak ako pachangecolor sa Leder Interia kaso sabi ke Yebo nila not applicable daw kase mostly Faux Leather . So my only options is to have it coated ng Ceramic Pro ang interiors. I like the looks yun lang maintenance issue

yan din gamit ko. before i used it nagkakaron nga ng lint from my jeans saka madaling maglibag. but after a thorough application (1 cleaning, then 1 more buffing) di na dumihin yung leather nya. i apply it once every 2 months lang and my eve's seats are still clean.

Hindi ba nagshiny ang Leather? yoko ko kse ang shiny look ng mga leather and interior plastics hence am not using Armor All products. Though I haven't tried that pa.

What am preparing pa sa budget ko is yung application ng SGS certified coating ng Ceramic Pro for car interior...12.5K for whole interior. Katatapos lang kase ng glasscoating ko so baka maquestion ako ni kumander hehehe.

We use Meguiar's Gold Class Leather Cleaner and Conditioner okay naman. Hindi naman siya shiny. Di na pwede ang maruming jeans nagmamark talaga. Ito lang din ang ayaw ko sa Eve, medyo maselan yung kulay ng seat.

Yes, I heard about the planned price increase come July from Ford Cainta.

Hi, first time owning an suv with beige interior and this is my only problem for now. How do you keep it clean mga sirs? 1 week pa unit ko pero marumi na in some parts. May jean stains na rin sa driver's seat. Any recommended cleaning materials that is effective and not too harmful sa leather?
I don't mind that this suv has a stiffer suspension than my old montero but a dirty interior is a much bigger headache for me. Anyone else that could relate?😁

Planning to buy floor matt like nomad style kasi tag ulan na at baka mamaho ang existing matting ng eve ko. Mga magkano kaya abutin kahit hanggang 2nd row lang. Or any better matting you can recommend, anong store kaya meron sa banawe?
