i'm just wondering why the SAs were clueless about that feature, when in fact it is one of the better selling points of the vehicle sana. plus the fact that it wasn't mentioned in the local brochures of the Eve.

maybe someone can make a definite confirmation later.

a few maybe but not most of them. after all, they should know all the features of the car they're selling if they want to sell them. the SAs i mentioned are knowledgeable enough. i'm just surprised that none of them knows about the active noise cancellation feature.

again, if it is a feature that's unique to the Eve, why was it not included in the brochures?

how about the manual, does it say something about it?

I can attest to that not only the SA but the service advisor also are clueless to some of these features. They would say I didn't know that. Even during the demo the SA don't even know how to navigate the sync and its features. Had I not read the online manual before I would have a hard time driving my first AT car out of the casa.

meron noise cancellation kasi andun yung microphones e. saka hindi dinig sounds na galing sa car mismo like engine and horn. akala ko nga ang hina ng busina yun pala pag nasa labas ka ang lakas.

still i find it odd that they left out this great feature from the brochures. this could be a deal-maker to some.

did you notice on the site that if a feature is exclusive to a variant, they put the (1) at the end with a postcript at the bottom of the site saying the feature is for select models only, features that are particular to the TOTL model. since the noise cancellation technology doesn't have the (1), it's safe to assume that the feature is not exclusive to select models only, but rather is included on all models.

besides, i test drove 3 units on 3 different casas and they all use the Ambiente, the lowest model, and it is evident that the cabin is relatively quiet compared to other SUV brands, particularly to a 2016 Monty GLS Premium where i drove only minutes apart from the Ambiente.

i'm now convinced that indeed the technology is used by Ford on all models of the Everest.

no. 3 you can always find in all car manufacturer sites and brochures. it's a safeguard against complaints i guess. it would be foolhardy for the official ford site here to put a feature that it is not offering locally. after all, how hard will it be to edit the site to be accurate for client's sake? if one feature is not there, it should be easy for them to remove it. while the pictures posted are for overseas models, the site itself is local and should be trustworthy enough.

I don't know with the 2.2 but my 3.2, I can only get around 6-7km/l in city driving.

ganyan din lang mileage ko sa city, 6-7 lalo na short trips lang kaya hindi warmed up ng todo makina. best city ko was 8.5kpl pag sinasadya na easy lang tapak sa gas.

meron na siya built in wind deflector, automatic mag-deploy pag open ng moon roof. spring loaded mechanism na activated ng cam dun sa moon roof mismo. very effective naman kasi walang wind noise and wala din masyado pumapasok na hangin pag naka open ang roof.

also half lang ng moon roof ang nago-open. why would you want to cover the open part with a plastic defelector?

For additional protection sir, kasi in the long run, possible na mag ka roon ng tulo kasi lulutong mga rubber, protection lang sana..

i had a toyota supra before and it was 15 years old when i sold it way back in 1998. wala naman tulo sa sun roof. it's not a new technology naman so i think alam na nila anong rubber ang dapat gamitin sa seals.
