Oh, friend's Ford Ranger is already having problems with the airconditioning system after 18 months of owning the vehicle.

He mentioned that the auto climate control works on one side only, not sure if passenger or driver. More on electronic than mechanical issue. He loves how the Ford Ranger drives. His only comment is expensive PMS and the aircon issue compared to his Mitsubishi Stradas. He has 3 previous gen Stradas and 1 new gen Strada.

Didn't notice that on mine since di ko ginagamit AUTO feature.. I just set it to 23 all of the time and vents on my face.

Hmm.. There are passenger and driver side seat sensors. Baka pag wala pong na detect na occupant say sa passenger ay di po sya mag work on that side..

Mga Sir hingi lang ako ng advise. Bought my Eve Titanium+ 3.2L 10 days ago but noticed misalignment sa lift gate at sa fuel lid. Also, the over-height is lower than an ambiente when I parked it beside one (mine is the white one, para tuloy sya lowered, although preho naman sila walang load. When I measured the height with a tape measure, nakuha ko sukat is only 1.77m, while sa specs should be 1.83m. Is this normal or am I just nit-picking here?

the misalignment looks bad, especially the fuel lid. i wouldn't have accepted the unit if i were you.

with regards to the height, i'm not so sure, but please do mind that your variant is the heaviest of them all. it will be better if you can compare the height to a similar variant with stock tires/suspensions.

Balik mo yan sa casa, di pwede yan misaligned na ganyan.

Also the height, 3.2 titanium premium din unit ko pero walang difference sa height pag katabi ng 2.2 titanium ng friend ko.

Seriously? Where did you get this idea? Even luxury cars don't have this feature. Usually passenger seat detectors are for de-activating passenger side airbags.

It's normal for Ford quality

It is quite possible that the unit given to you was damaged during transport and they repaired it (poorly) before releasing to you. Did they keep on delaying the release of your unit?

Sir Walter actually I did reserve as early as March, but since I work overseas, I only go back every 3 months. So we did the transaction and coordination through email lang and since my wife and I only stay for just a couple of weeks, I did request that the dealership release the unit as soon as we arrive so I can still enjoy the ride before we go back abroad. So in fairness to the SA, they managed to release the unit the same day I arrived, and I paid in cash..yun lang di ko agad napansin mga issues na to..

I have the same issue with my 2.2L Trend with the lift gate, I have it aligned sa casa and now its ok. I also have my 10kPMS with our local ford dealer and its P4k+ lang nabayaran ko.

Easy lang mga sir. Wild guest lang naman.. Hehe.. Looking at forums local and sa aussie, wala naman akong nakikitang issue regarding sa auto climate ng eve/ute.

Baka nasanay lang sya sa single zone na auto climate. Baka po iba temp setting ng driver vs. Passenger kaya napansin nya mas mainit sa passenger. Dual zone Auto kasi sa eve/ute.

Vents and fan speed ay same lang naman po sa driver and passenger side so if assuming gumana blower sa driver, sure na aandar din sa passenger. Sa temp lang nagkakatalo sa mixing ng heater.

Dont worry sir. Basta ireport nyo lang po sa SA nyo para maayos. Within warranty naman po yan. Yun lang, lesson learned dapat talaga bago kunin unit todo check up din muna.

Well ibabalik ko pa sa casa sa Thursday para daw i-general check up nila uli with regards sa height dahil apparently they still need to prepare a report before nila mai forward sa warranty department. Ipinakita ko lang kasi sa kanila yung pic pero hindi pa nila na measure by themselves. So hindi pa basically confirmed if it is a case of sagging suspension. I'll post once na may update pra din sa information ng fellow eve owners.
