Thank you sir! How much po ba sir? TIA

We have a 2010 xls and hanggang ngayon dumidikit parin ung amoy sa damit.
Yung sa amin natunaw dahil its right above the muffler. Aside from those problems ok naman yung escape. Di kami nagsisisi. Tamang tama yung 2.3L for long drives and steep climbs.

any idea when's the all-new escape will be available here? Magkanu kaya entry-level variant? 2.0L or 2.3L base engine? I got my escape 2-years ago bnew was just 999k. Pwde na din for my long trips considering compact cars ngayon are mahal na din.

i have both of them bro. 2005 2.3 and 2004 2.0 both cars are great! though siempre mas okay yung 2.3 kasi kayang kaya nya yung kaha and have better torque than the 2.0. downside lang ng escape is the a/c compressor other than that wala na. also i was selling my 2.0 just pm me nalang kung interested ka.l

Hi to all Escapeeps and fellow tsikoteers!

Our family had just got our first family car (only car) and we love our car.

Checking the mentioned casa's report, meron sila recommendations sa part to replace for: Fan Module, Engine Support #2 & Tensioner .

    Thank you very much!

Puwede sa Ford Cavite or Ford Alabang.

    Dear Escape owners,

    hi pinoy escape.....

i'm about to buy our own ford escape this week. i tried asking all the expert tsikoteers here and their comments were mostly positive. i'm buying a brand new 2.3L Escape. sabi nila yung unang labas na 2.0L, sobrang lakas sa gas. check if that is the engine of the vehicle you will buy.

pero based on your profile name.....i'm sure you have decided already

Yes, the only M/T variant Escape available locally came with the 2.0L engine. However, it's a lot better than the A/T variant both in terms of performance and fuel efficiency partly also due to the much lowered vehicle weight. The 2.0A/T, particularly the 4x4 variant is overweight and underpowered, the idiotic transmission makes it even worse.

*rockiee_s: Hello there! I see you're looking to buy a new car again! Is it here in the Philippines or in your workplace? The Escape 2.3 is indeed a really good car. We have a 2.3XLS in Taiwan, fast enough, and still gets around 9km/L city (Taiwanese traffic conditions of course)

Thank you for the comments, rockee_s and GTi. I don't have any problems with it right now but in case the car needs fixing where should i have it seen? Puwede na ba ang mechanic sa kanto? What do you think about Rapide? Re: detailing, where is the best in MManila?

hi GTi. oo, medyo nakantyawan ng mommy to buy her an SUV. and if ever, its gonna be our first SUV.

she wants it as a gift for her birthday.

it will be used in manila.

you think it is a good idea to wait for the release of the Mazda CX-5? medyo luma na nga kasi ang Escape. ilang years na rin ang current body nya.

    No!

Don't be a guinea pig and buy a car that's newly released.

Who knows, baka marami sakit sa ulo. Like the Accent in particular, Hyundai has been very good with their cars ... then the new Accent came out.

Well... Its up to you. The Escape is old. The basic design and platform originated from 2003! And it is in fact a rebadged version (or the other way around, your pick ) of the CX5's predecessor. But then it is a solid car one that would take you to places without fuss. In fact this one can take you to places other CUVs, except for perhaps the Grand Vitara, cannot. I'd say it's like the Volvo of CUVs. Not exactly the most exciting but among the most well built and among the most comfortable.

Comments on Ford Escape!??
