Remove the 4 wheel cover and palit goma mas malapad para rugged look nalang. Para kakaiba sa lahat ng ecosport

The 2018 EcoSport was first unveiled in the US...

    Torque curve of the 1.5-liter Dragon inline-3 vs the outgoing 110PS 1.5-liter (Sigma-based) inline-4.

No wonder the current Ecosport feels so anemic under 4000 rpm when loaded with passengers.

Thanks. I asked Ford BGC if they have a theory on the burning ecosport at Startoll and they suspect after sales modification. Safe answer.

It could be a possibility, I think there were cases like that before.
I wouldn't jump to conclusion just because it's not a Japanese brand. It can happen to other brands too. Google a popular car brand + "fire" and you'll end up with a lot of photos too.

Yes, exotic cars catch fire too, even more often despite their lower volume.

I think Ford realized that too. The new 1.5 has almost the same torque as a 1.6, not bad. :D
With the current outgoing model, the Trend M/T variant is my choice.

The variant I drove was the Trend MT. Still anemic at low revs.

new ecosport is also coming but im not sure when it arrives this year. it has a more reliable transmission and new engine that is more frugal.

price range for the focus is similar to the civic. it is also made in germany..

The only advantage the Ecosport has over the Focus is the ride height and maybe a bit of fuel efficiency. The Ecosport is practically a Fiesta with a raised suspension. I drive a Fiesta and I love how it handles on the road but the raised suspension of the Ecosport took away that natural grip offered by the Fiesta platform. Also, if you have the need for speed, the Ecosport is a bit slow off the line compared to the Fiesta, even much slower to the Focus Ecoboost.

However, if you just need a small vehicle with the extra ride height that you can happily use for your daily grind, I guess you'll be fine with an Ecosport.

180 horsepower and great handling for just 1.1M, yet no one's buying.

Because most people don't care about those things, and the Focus nameplate was ruined by the numerous DCT issues that plagued it. Even if it now has a 6AT, too late. Doesn't help that the Focus is more cramped than a City, and that the 1.5 turbo is a gas guzzler.

97% of Ford's sales come from the Everest, Ranger, and Ecosport.

The remaining 3 percent is split between the Fiesta, Focus, Explorer, and Mustang. The Focus is selling so poorly that even the Mustang that costs thrice as much outsells it.
