I wonder what's the realistic fuel consumption neto...considering putting it in that big and heavy body of explorer.

The 2.0 EcoBoost might have less horsepower than the 3.5 V6, but it has more torque and is FWD-only, this also makes it the lightest Explorer in the range.

3.5 Ti-VCT V6
Power: 290 hp * 6500 rpm
Torque: 255 lb-ft * 4100 rpm

2.0 EcoBoost
Power: 240 hp * 5500 rpm
Torque: 270 lb-ft * 1750-4000 rpm

Just spoke to Ford Phil today. They did confirm no delivery for last month & this month but instead to be end of next month
and/or early April. By the sound of it, Ford is fixing all issues experienced in North America market before they throw more units
out half way cross the globe. They don't want a massive recall to happen specially when it's way out the Americas.

Someone mentioned that the golden bronze has been discontinued. Hope the Philippine allocation still has the bronze units. Tapos biglang ang pinalit na kulay ay cinnamon metallic hehe which I don't find nice.
By the way, my friend's sterling grey unit, his 5-year old daughter finds the ride "the bumpiest ride ever". Baka di sanay sa suv. My wife and son have no complaints so far.

The word is end of March or early April. I had my reservation din dun ng una but pulled it
out & moved to Global. I guess kahit saan ka pumunta, it only make's a difference kung
dikit ka sa owner ng dealership or the color you requested ay meron.

Explorers with build date starting jan31 (hopefully A-pillar/MFT/power lift gate issues are corrected by then) are considered 2013 model.
Granting shipping time (sailing time) from USA to Philippines takes 30days, plus processing time at the ports of 1 week, we can safely assume that explorers arriving on the last week of march will be 2013 model.

Hope HID lamps na ang nakalagay, i-consider din sana yung bucket seats option sa 2nd row.
2 liter ecoboost engines are sluggish, 3.5 v6 pa rin ako.

Yeah sana yung mga new shipments ng Explorer na parating, ay problem-free na. I guess for those of you who are still waiting for your units to arrive, you can ask Ford about your concerns at the MIAS in late March.

So far so good yung unit ko *knock on wood* although 2x na nangyari na ilan araw ko di ginamit at pag start ko ng engine, nag-on ng mag-isa yung radio... bug ba ito or baka may moo moo? Hehe! Oh and speaking of the radio, napansin ko na mahina ang signal ng radio. Sometimes in some locations, mahina yung signal kc parang may fuzzy/static sound sa background. Eh pag ibang kotse naman gamit ko, wala naman problema.

It's confirmed, march/april pa ang next delivery.
And for those who want to join the long line at this time, august and september are your lucky months hehe.

Do you guys know if the units to be delivered this March/april are 2013s already? According to an SA from EDSA, 2012 pa din daw.

I won't be surprised if the March/April shipments would still be 2012 models. Sa tingin ko we are not in the priority list to be given the 2013 models. Ok na rin ang 2012 model, mas maganda na yung mags kaysa 2011 model ko.

By the way, I finally computed my city driving consumption.... 4.9 km/liter... with light to moderate (sometimes heavy) traffic. Per full tank, it can run maybe around 330 km pero noong 282 km pa lang, nagpa-full tank na ulit ako. Ang kulit kasi ng warning sensor, tunog ng tunog (but you can switch it off but will keep sounding every 20 minutes siguro) kahit may 1/4 pa

Kahit na 2012 as long as resolved na mga naging issues im ok with it. Otherwise, para saan yung pagstop nila ng allocation for 2 months.

Your correct, that inclusive of orders from Oct 2011 to Jan 2012 some of which has already been delivered.
