Did you get a loaner or service car while waiting?

Nope coz my Explo is with me. I can still drive it but no radio, no backup camera and cannot turn on the rear aircon (control is in the touch screen).

After 3 weeks of waiting, finally the application for warranty has been approved. Kahit matagal, ok na din na-approve for warranty considering that I didn't go for the every 6 months PMS.

And now the real waiting period has begun. I was advised that it could take as long as 1 month for the APIM module to arrive from the US.

Good to know this bro. At least Ford Philippines is taking care of the Explo owners.

In another piece of good news, last week when the warranty was approved, they call me after 2 days to say na may stock na yung APIM module. Either Ford Phil. had stocks or it was air freight from the U.S. but I think it's the former. Maybe the Ford Global SA didn't know na may stock pala ang planta.

I will be bringing in my Explo tomorrow with an estimate of 2 days confinement Sana mag-ok na.

Finally got back my Explo today. So far so good. Didn't pay a single cent (parts & labor)

I just noticed that my radio presets are still there, hindi siya bumalik sa default, yung para bang pag na-reset yung battery. Bakit kaya?

May nagbago din sa back up camera... medyo nagbago yung color red-white proximity sensor that even my wife noticed it hehe Its kinda difficult to explain, basta may nagbago.

Definitely good.... mas visible na yung green-yellow-red sensor ng backup camera. Kasi dati, hindi gaano responsive (not very visible yung color).

I believe mine was updated by Ford Global to 4.30.13171_PRODUCT which according to wikipedia is the latest 3.6.2 (released August 2013). Coz my last PMS prior to this one was before August 2013.

With the rear view camera, I think it's improved because I just saw there's a control panel for it to "Enhance" it and it's turned on. Baka yung dati naka-off kaya hindi pareho hehe

Done my first PMS at Ford Alabang I paid 8,600+.
My Explo runs 2800Kms (7mos) only nung dinala ko sya sa Casa.

Now the next is 20K or 7months. Hirap abutin itong 20k pero no choice need to bring the unit again after 7mos.

Ito ang hindi ko naitanong. kung ok lang bumili ng oil sa labas instead galing sa kanila, cguro kahit papanu may price difference ito.

I had my first PMS at 5K which was when my explo was a year old. Now my explo is more than 2 yrs old and in 13K pero balik ko cya sa casa for PMS at 15K. They never denied me any warranty claim like the smoke thing.

still thinking about it. plan to sell both the explorer and the brz then get a is350 f-sport or cla45. i still can't decide if i should or shouldn't though, since i still love both the brz and explorer.

i'm leaning towards the f-sport since if i sell both the brz and explorer i won't need to add more money to get the f-sport. unlike if i get the cla45 i'll need to add a little more than 1M pesos. and the f-sport has more features than the cla that i want, but the cla45 is a small monster.
