Sir naisip ko lang bakit di niyo na lang po ipa glass etching of plate number sa side mirrors niyo. Tingin ko di na nila yan nanakawin kasi mahihirapan sila ibenta ung side mirror na may nakasulat na plate number hehe

Naisip ko na din yan. Cheaper pa for 150 each. Kaso mga magnanakaw they don't look at your side mirror before they steal it. They just look for the type of car they wish to steal then sabay pitas without looking, by the time they knew it's etched, huli na lahat. Wala na sayo side mirror mo.

Sabi saken once it's installed wala na daw tanggalan eh. Epoxy kasi daw ang gamit. Pero imo, pwede pa rin matanggal yun pero i doubt kung madali yun.. Maybe you need to heat it up or some kind of machine to separate it.

sir para sayo sino mas lamang sa performance at kargahan ranger 2.2 or hilux 2.5? planning to buy pick up po kasi ko. im confuse lan talaga if alin sa dalawa pipiliin ko. thanks.

I have not driven the new Hilux with the 2.5 VNT engine, so I can't compare directly. But here are a few things I can share:

1. The Ranger 2.2 doesn't feel very torquey at low rpms, at least when compared to other diesels. Play your gears right though, and you can still get good off the line acceleration.

2. I've driven Toyota's old 2.5 (non-VNT) with an Innova that had 8 people on board, and it had no problem accelerating and overtaking along the uphill pass from Batangas to Tagaytay. Despite being full with people, acceleration from 60-120 kph was great considering this engine only had 102 hp. It makes the most out of it and torque range is very good. That said, it loses most of its steam after 140 kph on the highway.

3. I've also driven Toyota's 3.0 (which makes just a little more power than the 2.5 VNT) and it too has very good pull in the low range. Think of the 2.5's performance but make it even faster, though it also has more turbo lag.

From this, I can say that ultimately the Hilux 2.5 VNT will have better performance than the Ranger. Remember, the Hilux doesn't only have a better torque band, it's also over 100 kg lighter.

Yun nga lang, sa performance lang talaga siya lamang. It looks timeless, but still not as macho as the Ranger. Interior tries to be upscale but really doesn't, and the Ranger just looks better thought-of. Also, the Ranger's much more comfortable and spacious.

Specs lang yan. Try driving both. Walang binatbat yung 2.2 ng Ranger sa 3.0 ng Toyota.

Regarding the video, papost yung link. Particularly interested if it's the VNT 2.5 Hilux or not. Kasi kung yung non-VNT, malamang mas mahina yun.

Nadrive mo na 3.2 bro? It didnt feel all that powerful. Torquey, yes, but because its still hauling a 2000 kg so its not what I'd call a "king".

As I owned a 2.5vgt strada before the 2.2 ranger, I can say na mas matulin ang strada sa ranger. Hilux naman na 3.0 mas matulin at mas malakas din. Not sire how the 3.2 ranger drives. Pa pogian nalang hehe.

Tama. Yung performance kaya naman i-compensate ng driver yan. Eh yung itsura ng Ranger hindi kaya tapatan ng ibang pick-up
