i'm really concerned about this, hindi magandang senyales ang corrosion lalo nasa injectors pa.
pero nakakapagtaka lang. dalawa pa yung cover na tatamaan ng tubig before it hits the injectors itself.
leaky cowl kaya tlga ang problem? then seeping sa mga cover?

sana replacement part yan dun sa mga affected hindi lang fix-up (remedyo).

Sir I created the scenario kung paano mag seep ang tubig dun sa engine. Binuhusan ko ang cowl ng tubig at dun sya sa magleak in between the 2 part cowl cover then mag drip dun sa top plastic cover ng engine and then dadaloy ang tubig paatras at doon mahuhulog na sya papuntang injector no 4 banda. Hindi kasi na coverage ng husto ang plastic cover ng makina. So that's it. maiipon ang tubig doon kasi catcher sya hehehe.

If matagal na mapabayaan baka hindi na matanggal ang injector nyan sa cylinder head.

for 2013 released xlt owners. yes yung bed liner natin nagbabago/ deform. yung akin kasi 2 mos pa lang bukas meron ng konting pag angat sa may lip. hindi ata maganda yung quality ng bed liner na kasama sa xlt natin.

Hahaha kaka high-blood ano? Ewan ko sa mga ungas na yun! Injectors are sealed naman as I was advised by my friend who knows a lot about diesel engines pero nakakainis talaga itsura niya hehe. Parang 20 years old ang dating ng sasakyan haha.

Sinabi mo pa boss! Minsan sarap na lang ihagis yung kotse pabalik kung pwede lang eh. Haha. In this present times, hindi na acceptable ang ganyan with all the advancements. Kung panahon ng great great great grandfather ko baka tanggap ko pa. Hahaha! Ano ang isang milyon? Piso? Haha. Bad trip lang eh.

One more thing i experienced after driving for a week. Kapag mabilis acceleration mo then biglang preno, and kapag malapit na magfull stop, biglang majjerk forward yung kotse. It's kind a dangerous imo. I thinks it's due to the transmission? And sometimes malakas ang vibratation kapag naka idle ka lang. But when put on D or R, nawawala siya.

Unit is XLT AT btw. Anyone who experiences the same as well?

Yup! Same here! Mas malinis lang tignan pero in protection wise mas maganda yung may lip.

Agree with sir djerms. Could be the xl variant

2. Fuel used
3. Tire pressure
4. Tire size
5. Passenger or things load.
6. Amount of fuel present. Siyempre mas magaan ang near empty sa full tank.
7. Shifting of gears

Hey man, try mo pa-oil change kaagad Ranger mo. When I did that the rattle which was barely noticeable to begin with disappeared completely. I coupled that with using Unioil Euro IV which made the engine run smoother. As regards the sudden jerk forward when braking hard I think you're right that it's because of the fickle transmission in our truck. However the AT tranny in this truck in my opinion is the best when compared to the Strada, Navara and Dmax since I've driven all of those. All Auto Transmissions are somewhat fickle if you ask me. Sometimes they shift too early sometimes they shift too late. The Ranger is the least fickle. The one thing I really would like to experience less is the massive turbo lag coming from a standstill. It's weird because if you load up the RPMs while pressing hard on the brakes you could feel tons of torque ready to just burst out of the gates. Try it. Press hard on the brake and load up the RPM to about 3K then suddenly let go of the brake, it's gonna accelerate off the line like a rocket. The tire chirp is also pleasurable to the ears.

Try putting it in manual mode then if you're right at that high RPM and speed where you could downshift to first you could make the tires chirp from the engine braking alone.
