    Yes, had the air replaced by Nitrogen. Mas stable kasi Nitrogen compared with air. Air kasi expands when your car is running lalo na kapag long distance.

    So normal lang pala if bago pa, nagulat kasi ako nung nakita ko sa dealership yesterday, pagrevolution nang brandnew ranger pag labas sa casa para deliver sa new owner, umosok kasi agad.. kakareserve pa lang kasi namin..

    Examples of tire sizes:
    275/55R20
    265/60R18
    285/50R20
    265/65R16

    The first number is the width of your tire (lapad ng gulong) in millimetres (mm).

    The second number after the / is the aspect ratio or "series" of the tires. In plain english, it is used to compute the thickness of the tire wall (kapal ng gulong). The number is a percentage (%) of the first number. For example:

    265/50 = 265mm lapad ng gulong; 50% of 265 = 132.5mm thickness ng gulong
    195/50 = 195mm lapad ng gulong; 50% of 195 = 97.5 mm thickness ng gulong
    275/35 = 275 mm lapad ng gulong; 35% of 275 = 96.25mm thickness ng gulong

    The number after the "R" is the diameter of your wheel/mags in inches.

    R20 = 20 inches
    R17 = 17 inches
    R15 = 15 inches

    Now.. how do we compute the ideal tire size for 20" wheels on Ford Ranger?

    Stock Size: 265/65R17
    265mm = lapad ng gulong. Syempre mas maganda kung parehas or mas malapad yung gulong kung mag-upgrade. So dapat equal or more than 265.
    65 Series = 65% of 265 = 172.25mm thickness ng gulong
    R17 = 17" stock wheels
    Total Diameter of wheel AND tire = 17" + 172.25mm + 172.25mm
    Total Diameter of wheel AND tire = 30.56 inches

    The new tire size should also be more or less equal to 30.56 inches. Anything bigger/smaller by 5% will make your speedometer read WRONG speed, and maybe even destroy your stock suspension, transmission and engine.

    Option A: 275/55R20
    275 = 275mm lapad ng gulong
    55% of 275 = 151.25mm thickness ng gulong
    R20 = 20 inches wheels
    Total Diameter = 20" + 151.25mm + 151.21mm
    Total Diameter = 31.91 inches
    This is bigger than stock diameter by almost 4.4%!! It will surely mess up your speedometer reading.

    Option B: 285/50R20
    285 = 285mm lapad ng gulong
    50% of 285 = 142.5mm thickness ng gulong
    R20 = 20 inches wheels
    Total Diameter = 20" + 142.5mm + 142.5mm
    Total Diameter = 31.22 inches
    This is bigger than stock diameter by about 2.2%!! It may mess up your speedometer reading.

    Option C: 265/50R20
    265 = 265mm lapad ng gulong
    50% of 265 = 132.5mm thickness ng gulong
    R20 = 20 inches wheels
    Total Diameter = 20" + 132.5mm + 132.5mm
    Total Diameter = 30.43 inches
    This is the closest to stock diameter!!

    Very informative! thanks man! Now I know a lot more in case I want to change rims in the future haha. May downside ba if i retain ang wheel size (265mm) but the ratio would be bigger? I like the look of fat wheels. Possible ba yun? Rims kahit stock ok na sakin, papa paint ko nalang ng black, cheap alternative, new look

    Hi fellow tsikoteers and ranger owners, just got our unit today from ford commonwealth, Manual transmission.. Nag reserve kame last wednesday by the way Based on my observation, mas higher rpm nararamdaman yung torque.. Totoo yung sinabe nung isang fellow ranger owner, sa simula kelangan pa amuhen muna yung kabayo kase pumipiglas pa hehe.. Sa tingen ko sa tamang seating position makukuha para mas swabe tapak sa clutch.. Mausok pa yung unit ngyon, pero siguro mawawala pag na break in na or 1st pms ( sana ) hehe.. Ang lamig ng Aircon. As usual pick up yung unit nten, wag tyo mag expect ng car-like ride, pero tolerable naman..

    para sa mga tsikoteers na gustong kumuha or mag inquire ng ranger, Rerekomenda ko yung sales manager na kausap namen.. Derecho po cya kausap lalo na pag dating sa release date, very accommodating pa.. Pm nyo ko guys if you need his help..

    Kung makita ninyo kung gaano kausok ang 4d56 vgt at nissan navara, matutuwa na kayo sa smoke emission ng ranger. I've had a strada and it smokes like ****. The only small engine diesel we own that's "A" on smoke emission is our hyundais. Bilib talaga ako sa hyundai. But it doesnt have the toughness of a pickup...

    I've been using UNIOIL EURO IV diesel and so far so good, although no change sa FC but no black smoke, I mean, there is a bit not completely black parang grayish lang and that is when I tried to step on the accelerator when I was parked to check the emissions. I agree with one of the tsikoteers, as compared to the STRADA although I am not sure if it really has something to do with the type of DIESEL but I think it has something to do with it. I've been using the UNIOIL DIESEL for 4 months now and engine is running smoother as compared to when I was using SHELL V POWER DIESEL...

    Ganito ang paint talaga ng Ranger no? Nagtanong na ako sa paint shops and wet sanding daw then re-apply ng clearcoat. Same price ng hilamos para mawala. Nakaka OC!
