Thanks Sir Yggy, yan din gamit ko now, although balak ko sanay i-try yung TOTAL na I think EURO 4 na. PHOENIX also claims na EURO 4 na sila but unfortunately parang takot akong subukan dahil parang in contrast yung kanilang gasoline station sa kanilang EURO 4 diesel pagdating sa CLEANLINESS, parang sobrang dumi ng kanilang mga gas station which put doubts in my mind yung quality as well nung kanilang products.

So far, ok rin naman ako sa SHELL V-POWER NITRO DIESEL.

Ako, jetti diesel lang ang gamit ko. Yun din kasi gamit namin sa montero namin, wala pa naman issues so far. Euro2 compliant naman ang ranger

Some of those in MSCP have been using Unioil Euro 4 diesel since last year. They've observed that their Montero's engine became less noisy and their EGR valves need not to be cleaned anymore.

Wag na kayong sumubok ng Gas or Diesel from Phoenix Stations... dito sa CDO iba din takbo ng auto ko pag sa kanila ako nagpa gas. Mahina humatak... sa palagay ko di maganda ang quality ng fuel nila kahit malinis pa tignan ang Stations nila. Nasubukan ko na kahit saang Phoenix Station dito... ganon pa din ang effect sa auto ko.

Got my unit last week. Many thanks to chromebore, numbah5, teeyoh, puroiskii, Tj_abs, zamoco_08, and sir yggyboy for the feedback. After a few minutes of negotiation, both of us agreed to meet halfway on the charges:

Insurance- from P43,000 it went down to P27,000 as they match the offer of BDO.
Freight- P34,000. Non-negotiable. Standard charge on all units shipped to Visayas and Mindanao regardless of brand.
Chattel- Charge to BDO
LTO w/ CTPL- P15,000. I scouted other casa brands in my location and halos the same ang charge..
FREE- V-Kool OEM Series, Bedliner, ordinary seatcover, floor mat, and 20 liters of fuel. Ang kuripot nila wala man lang free umbrella, keyholder, or electronic gadgets (digicam)..

I decided to make d/p of 700k and the balance will be for 1 year at 3.8% interest courtesy of BDO. The D.I. was never discussed.

Tsikoters..ask lang po some infos...lam ko most of you are expert here.after po nong taas ng baha na naranasan namin sa daan going to sta.cruz laguna at last baha sa lobo batangas.medyo worry lang po na gamitin yong accent ko dahil mababa.sa height po ng computer box at intake..alin ang mas mataas..new ranger,hilux,strada or colorado.tumingin na po ako with my wife ng strada at colorado..di pa yung new ranger pero may nakasbay na ako last week sa star tollway..black color....tulo laway ko don a..try to get all the information sa discussion nyo dito..
Basta yun lang po..na kahit umangat ang baha hanggang beywang e di titrik ang sasakyan dahil pinasok ng tubig ang intake or ang computer box..

Capacity nya. Same as sa colorado. Yung 800mm nila is for 4x4 variants or yung nagtaas ng ride height.

hindi ba HI-RIDER yung 4x2 xlt na offer nila dito sa pinas, which is the variant with increased ride ht? (1815mm overall ht vs 1716mm for the un-increased ht)

Hi to everybody...How true that New ford ranger has special design compartment for its computer box and properly sealed?...at mataas daw ang location and strategic...para high flood area...for peace of mind....na just incase mabaha?...safe pa rin si ranger...remove na lang battery wire...if di talaga maiwasan ang baha...

Hi to everybody...How true that New ford ranger has special design compartment for its computer box and properly sealed?...at mataas daw ang location and strategic...para high flood area...for peace of mind....na just incase mabaha?...safe pa rin si ranger...remove na lang battery wire...if di talaga maiwasan ang baha...

I've researched and I have taken many photographs of its engine. It has a very high water fording ability because the intake is placed a few mm below the hood itself. Moreover kahit matapunan ng tubig yung intake, may catch siya which means water will never ever go in the intake (sad because it would make installing a snorkel redundant) but definitely cool pa rin. as for the computer box it has an outer container but I'm not sure if it is water tight.

i would like to post some of the items i have noticed with my unit (2.2 xlt m/t). kindly check if this is also true to your own unit or is it configurable;

- Side Turn Lamp Indicators Standard with Puddle Lamps (according to ford ph website) - Walang puddle lamp (ilaw sa ilalim ng side mirror?)
- Beltminder® Driver & Passenger - no audible alarm at any speed, just the red icon sa instrument cluster
- ignition keyhole illuminator saw this on the demo unit at ang sagwa tignan yung akin, kasi wala at parang tinanggal (asked my SA, told me sa 4x4 xlt lang daw meron)
- interior sensor or double lock not functioning. kahit double lock ko tapos galaw ako sa loob, hindi mag aalarm

Hi taraki. Same tyo ng unit. Wala din yan features that u mentioned except for interior sensor. Nag alarm sya when I lock myself inside and make movements. Ganon ba sa states na nakakalimutan nila na may tao or pet inside their car? Weird. View ko lang ito. It might be useful for others. D naman nag auto lock if u leave all the doors closed.

I really wanted the double lock features para deterrent sa nakaw. Kaso wala sa XLT. Sana ito na lang yun available kaysa movement sensor. Applicable sa places na madaming carnaping. But usual modus is they held u at gun point.
