Water/Alcohol injection Turbo Diesel use

The engine type really does not matter it will do close to the same on any turbo diesel, you can expect a 15% to 20% increase in power. I don't have the specs on how much that engine makes but judging by the 110hp it's not going to be over 10psi.to 12psi The turbo is also very small so that means inefficient and high outlet temps which is less power.

Now I am only assuming this is on a Starex. And since they have a all but useless top mount intercooler you would see some good gains in power.

Here's what it did on a 2001 starex on stock boost.

50/50 water methanol stock boost



70/30 water methanol stock boost.

That's also our old 150psi pump and older style nozzles, there would be a fairly good change in the power output with the current 250psi and 300psi pumps and nozzles.

Is it ok to relocate a nozzle do3 in pre intercooler (top mount)

Because right now my nozzle is too close in the throttle plate

just back from speedlab, the old Nissan Elgrand hit 168hp to the wheels. finally got some methanol. My base hp is 120hp with a simota cone filter.

next month getting a downpipe and exahust so I can hit 200hp.

Current:
Post IC(rubber coupler)
DO3 3gph
2" distance from throttle plate
After IAT sensor
Runs on pure water(planed to keep it that way)

Plans:
Pre IC with bung
3" before intercooler's elbow(TMIC)
DO3 3gph
Will run on water only
Before IAT sensor


Intercooler is topmounted(2.5 D4D vnt)

Sabihan mo si doc what the f gawa bang china yan at walang quality control? hehe, Yung sa akin ay pinalitan yung controller at yung float switch din nung installation. Mukhang DOA din yung nagamit sa akin. Dami stock ng berrima so palit lang sila ng palit hehehe.

For pajero, suggestion ni doc is post intercooler. So its after intercooler.
