During my 5,000 kms change oil I used bosch oil filter (AF1 036) and delo 400 motor oil. I noticed that after cold starting, oil warning light take a longer time before it dissapear after my change oil, It takes 2.5 sec. What I did is change the oil filter immediately w/ OEM mitsubishi filter, after that it take only 1 sec. before the warning light gone. Base on expert says engine wear happened during start up. 4d56 engine.

Could it be that you were given a fake bosch filter? The said scenario happens when an oil filter has no drain-back valve, unless not all genuine bosch filters have drain-back valves. Same scenario happened to me because of an el cheapo oil filter.

I bought some Fleetguards for the TD27/QD32 from Bayen before. My friend used it on his Frontier.

My brother was cleaning our garage cabinet last night. He found a VIC C110 inside and we have no idea where it came from. We now have a nice paperweight at home :D

Looks like they changed there design a bit, And copied fleetguards stacked disk media. Looks like they got tired of of being known as garbage filters.

Well I would like to see a real micron test vs just a sticker.

But at least this will help you not get a fake VIC.
VIC Filters « Primal Enterprises Corporation

But these do look pretty good for the bypass filters. They do fool you by making uneven folds in the media notice some are way smaller than the others.

Another study but does not specify VICS efficiency
