Doc, for the LC's I've been using Mobil 1 High Mileage Fully Synthetic oil. API rating of SL/CF. Is this a good oil? What Group/Class does it belong to?

On a Toyota OEM oil filter + Mobil 1 HM FS oil I do a 6,000km OCI. Can I extend this to 12,000 km OCI with the Baldwin, Fleetguard, or Wix filters? Thanks.
SL/CF oil is not for diesel engines It's still Group IV oil (true synthetic) but it does not contain enough zinc and phos for a older engine with non roller lifters. And as far as TBN goes it's not that high at only 8.5. So in short no it's not good oil for you to use on your LC if it is a diesel engine which I assume it is. Now if your using it on a gas engine it's a great oil it has a decent amount of moly in it. Old school diesels need around 1200ppm zinc if you want long life with there flat tappet lifters.

For a gas engine yes 12,000km would be no problem with that oil
