A good list of all Mobil's oils and the zinc content of each, I would avoid any of their advance fuel economy formulations I would never use just because the wear additive package is just way to low at 750ppm of zinc.

There Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck is the best overall oil for gas and diesel for someone who wants to run 40 weight oil is is perfect for that climate. 1200ppm Zinc and 1000 Phosphorus and it is of course it's CJ-4, CI-4, CI-4 Plus, SM, rated oil.
Mobil's second best oils is all there high mileage formulations. all have 1100ppm Zinc and 1000 Phosphorus that's what you should be running from the start vs when you get high miles on your vehicle.
As wear increases, the efficiency of an engine declines. Valve train wear slightly changes valve timing and movement. Ring and liner wear affect compression. The wear hurts fuel efficiency and power output by an imperceptible amount at first, but then the difference in fuel economy between an SAE 10W-30 and SAE 5W-20 is hardly noticeable. Efficiency continues to decline as wear progresses. Optimizing wear protection is the way to reduce fuel consumption over the life of the engine. And for me I won't use anything with less than 1000ppm zinc in it on anything.
Unfortunately most SM, SN oils don't cut it. You pretty much better off with non US brands in most cases that don't have the same restrictions of the EPA. You don't want to trade oil life for engine wear protection.
