sige i-rephrase ko ung point ko kanina. "apples to apples of the same tree" dapat ang comparison. lagi nalang koito vs stanley ang example mo eh magkaiba company nga sila eh at magkaiba ang quality standards nila. ang sinasabi namin eh ung manufacturing plants ni japanese company A na may same ISO certifications, regardless kung saan ung location nila, ay same ang quality standard na sinusunod at may quality management systems sila in place para i-ensure na nasusunod ung quality standards nila.

Quality Management Principles
The standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation and implication of top management, the process approach and continual improvement. These principles are explained in more detail in the pdf*Quality Management Principles.
Using ISO 9001:2008 helps ensure that customers get consistent, good quality products and services, which in turn brings many business benefits.

February 22nd, 2014 11:21 AM #113from what i understand, these ISO eks eks just evaluate the steps in the "manufacture" of the product. but they do not test that product. others do the testing, and their results do not have anything to do with that ISO certification.
there is a difference between the quality control of the steps in manufacture, and the quality testing of the actual product.. it is tempting to equate the two, but they are not.

February 22nd, 2014 01:05 PM #116from what i understand, some car manufacturers encourage/allow independents to manufacture replacement parts for their cars, in an effort to bring down the cost of parts and popularize the marquees' repairability. but i am not sure if they actually bless these independents' parts with their seal of approval.. or do they just let "word-of-mouth" do the advertising...?

February 25th, 2014 02:04 PM #119Yung Tokico(Owned by Hitachi) kasi medyo nawala na sa PH market, although OEM brand din siya. Meron siyang aftermarket and performance shocks. Sa mga supplier ng Tokico shocks before isa isa nagsurrender, dahil sa price and dahil maskilala ng tao ang KYB na brand.
Anong specific na plastic part sa hand brake, meron ka bang photo?
