    OT lang mga bossing:

We all know the importance of choosing the right oil and filter for our engine. How about choosing the right air filter? I have seen a replacement air filter Sakura brand that is half the price (Php500) as compared to Toyota OEM air filter which cost around (Php1000). Malaki din ba ang pagkakaiba ng replacement air filter sa original OEM air filter of Toyota in terms of filtering out dust and other particles?

As of now idol I'm sticking with K&N. Kung meron nga lang available na Baldwin air filter for my ride mag-baldwin na din ako e.

medyo paniwala ako sa air filter shoot out doc na to kaya K&N for me is good enough.

K, thanks sir. Good review on air filters. Filtration and Flow ang importante. Medyo pricey lang nga ung K&N, I think 3x the price of the Toyota OEM.

yun nga lang medyo mahal yung initial investment. atleast lifetime filter na sya. so far i've had mine drop in lang for 2.5 years na, no damage whatsoever naman. intact pa din yung rubber and filter media.

gusto ko nga din mag-expand to distributing K&N oil filter e kaya lang kailangan ng malaki laking puhunan, hehehe! anyway, lets see. baka sakaling swertihin.

big time ka na sir! In terms of FC, is there a difference when using different types of air filters? or hindi naman masyado affected ang FC?

hehehe! hindi naman idol. subok lang sa business. kakasawa din maging empleyado.

sa FC kasi my take on it is, depends on how heavy your right foot it, sa open type filter kasi more air equates to more grunt, higher rev = more fuel used. and sarap kasi ng tunog ng open type filter versus stock air box e kaya kapag naka ganun ka may tendency na mas nirerev mo ng madalas kasi sarap ng ng tunog. pero kung normal parehas lang siguro yung fuel consumption.

yeah. laking advantage at tipid ng bypass filtration for rigs that require large amount of motor oils. ang hirap nga lang makahanap ng spin-on adapter dito sa pinas. the last single adapter that dvldoc has ako na nga kumuha e para for future mods sa ride ko. its gonna be an overkill sa filtration pero thats me. i like to go a bit overboard on filtration. hehehe! may mga nagbebenta sa sulit pero too expensive. parang hindi makatarungan yung presyo,
