Ano mas maganda ilagay na oil pag ang sasakyan eh wala pa 10k yung matatakbo per year? Yung Fort namin mag-Four years na sa 2015 pero ang natatakbo pa lang eh 19,XXX kms pa lang. Ano mas magandang klase ng oil ang ilagay?

Target ko sunod ilagay eh Delo 400, change every 5k interval or should I go for Fully Synthetic change every 10k kms?

I would do Delo400 every 3000km or every 4mo for stop and go traffic and dirty fuel.

The 100% synthetic diesel CI-4 looks really good. TBN is 11.2 when most are 10. An oil I definitely want to try after my car's warranty.

Delo 400 then change oil every 6months or 5,000kms whichever comes first.

or 1 YEAR w/c ever comes first.

Salamat mga bro sa replies. Hindi naman stop and go yung route namin. Ang problem lang kasi eh bihira lang talaga magamit. Pwede ba kahit per year na lang ang oil change kung Delo 400 kung hindi man maka-5,000 kms? Hindi ba sya agad madedegrade? TIA

Hindi kasi ideal sa dino oil na more than 6 months gamitin. Semi-synthetic ka na lag kung plan mo is 1yr or 5,000kms whichever comes first. Mas matagal ma-degrade semi-synthetic.

I'll recommend Top1 SDO, Zic or other sei-synthetics oils na available.

Ako gamit ko delo 400, pero kahit lagpas 6 mos ok pa yan, di na tulad dati mga dino oil, sa bitog forum nga dino oil + dual bypass filter kaytagal nila gamitin

walang problema, delo 400 may moly content na maganda naman both protection ang lubrication yung delo gold wala.

Na test ko na yung Motul TRD 5W40 na pang diesel sa Santa Fe and Montero for 10k OCI. Wala naman difference ako napansin vs sa Specific CRDI at sa Kixx Turbo RV. AFAIK mas mataas TBN ng Specific CRDI vs TRD. Na curious lang ako kaya na try ko kung may difference ba sa mas murana Kixx. Sa next oil change ko back to Kixx ako.

I think the 1.2 TBN difference dow not make any difference and the added value is negligible because our diesel sulfur limit is now low. BTQ, Sulfur turns to SO2 inside the ICE, which turns to sulfuric acid because of the combustion water byproduct.

If you have the vehicle owner's manual, just follow the factory recommended oil change and filter change intervals. Be sure to use the correct oil grade for your engine.

Good luck makakita ka Rimula R4 L. Afaik Shell Rimula R4 lang meron sa mga Shell stations. CI-4 yun.

And to answer your second question, much better yung Delo 400.
