    Mas mahal talaga pag sa stations since pinoprotectahan nila ang distributors and sellers nila ng oil (auto shops).

    ^ oo nga eh. i'm already using baldwin oil filters for my fd. i ordered 3 pcs from our fellow tsikoteer (bayen) last summer. i paired it w/ mag 1's 5w-30 fully synth motor oil and i've got no complaints

    going back to the monty thingy, i've heard that mitsubishi peeps have issues against using non-oem oil filters though. will verify that na lang muna bago order kay bayen uli kung may stock siya

So I settled for Vic since ok naman daw un sabi ni sir Migs.

    Im sorry, it wasn't Baldwin for the Dmax, it was a Fleetguard.

    *baludoy: LF689 un, sir, if I remember correctly. Ung sa Civic ang Baldwin and walang naging problem. B2 naman ata un.

    Wala naman akong naging problem kay sir bayen, ok siya as a seller. Madaling kausap. Kaso ayoko ng maulit ung hassle na ganon where pagdating mo sa shop, di pala compatible ung part, which in my case oil filter, na dala mo.

    Pero sana pinalitan ni sir bayen ung LF filter but I never heard from him again.

    So after break in pwede na mag semi synth sa 1k kms?

    Mineral and semi replace every 5k or 6mos kung sino mauna.

    Full synth 10k or 1yr basta mag top up after 5k or 6mos

    Accent owner here.

    new oil in the market....

    S-Oil ventures into the Philippines with quality automotive lubricants | TopGear.com.ph

    S-Oil, a South Korea-based petroleum, petrochemical and lubricant company, has arrived in the Philippines with a variety of products for daily drivers, diesel workhorses and race-spec performance cars. It aims "to deliver top-quality lubricants at reasonable prices."

    Venturing into the local scene as S-Oil Philippines, the company is focusing on dealers and service centers within Metro Manila, with provincial areas to follow soon, according to company president Junseo Kano.

    S-Oil Philippines offers the brand's complete lubricant line:

    * SSU 100% Fully Synthetic: The flagship product of the company, it is engineered for optimal gasoline and diesel engine performance;

    * SSU Euro XT: Designed for gasoline-powered European automobiles such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Volkswagen, it meets API SM/CF requirements and is rated by the SAE at 5W-40;

    * SSU GXO: This is optimized for vigorous, high-speed driving on gasoline-powered vehicles with sophisticated valve trains, whether turbocharged or supercharged. It is also rated at API SN/ILSAC GF-5 and SAE 5W-30;

    * SSU DXO and DXO Turbo: These are 100% fully synthetic, multigrade lubricants designed for diesel engines. SSU DXO is rated at SAE 15W-40, while SSU DXO Turbo is rated at SAE 10W-40;

    * Dragon: S-Oil's semi-synthetic lubricant blend, the product is offered at a reasonable price;

    * Dragon SN: Designed for naturally aspirated and turbocharged gasoline engines, it can be specified from 0W-20 up to 10W-40; and

    * Dragon Turbo Best: Suitable for both turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, it is available at 10W-30 or 15W-40 and is designed for low emissions.

    S-Oil Philippines is participating in the GT300 Class of the Philippine GT Championship Series with South Korean driver Peter Kim behind the wheel of a Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Kim is supported by the Tuason Racing School and Bridgestone.

    The Seoul-based company's humble beginnings date back to the 1973 oil crisis, during which the supply of crude oil was South Korea's priority. SsangYong Cement Industrial and the National Iranian Oil Company built the Korea-Iran Petroleum Company with a capital of 200 million won. The Korea-Iran Petroleum Company constructed a refinery and other facilities for the full-scale distillation of crude oil. The company underwent name changes: It was named SsangYong Refinery, and then S-Oil.

    The firm then grew to produce petroleum, petrochemical and lubricant products. Today, S-Oil claims to be one of the most profitable energy companies in Korea, with products exported to 40 countries.

Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
