^
monograde lang yan sir. baka mahirapan makina mo when starting masyadong thick.
i'm thinking of replacing the in-house full synth diesel oil of mitsubishi motors w/ mobil 1 delvac for our year old monty (20k pms). you guys think this is a good move? 1st time diesel vehicle driver here that's why i'm a bit anxious when it comes to this hehe
^ oo nga eh. i'm already using baldwin oil filters for my fd. i ordered 3 pcs from our fellow tsikoteer (bayen) last summer. i paired it w/ mag 1's 5w-30 fully synth motor oil and i've got no complaints
going back to the monty thingy, i've heard that mitsubishi peeps have issues against using non-oem oil filters though. will verify that na lang muna bago order kay bayen uli kung may stock siya
So I settled for Vic since ok naman daw un sabi ni sir Migs.
^ Actually i have not heard from Bayen here or on the Altis club boards anymore.
Im sorry, it wasn't Baldwin for the Dmax, it was a Fleetguard.
*baludoy: LF689 un, sir, if I remember correctly. Ung sa Civic ang Baldwin and walang naging problem. B2 naman ata un.
Wala naman akong naging problem kay sir bayen, ok siya as a seller. Madaling kausap. Kaso ayoko ng maulit ung hassle na ganon where pagdating mo sa shop, di pala compatible ung part, which in my case oil filter, na dala mo.
Pero sana pinalitan ni sir bayen ung LF filter but I never heard from him again.
aside from mobil delvac 1, any other recommended fully synth lubricants for the monty sport?
So after break in pwede na mag semi synth sa 1k kms?
Mineral and semi replace every 5k or 6mos kung sino mauna.
Full synth 10k or 1yr basta mag top up after 5k or 6mos

The Seoul-based company's humble beginnings date back to the 1973 oil crisis, during which the supply of crude oil was South Korea's priority. SsangYong Cement Industrial and the National Iranian Oil Company built the Korea-Iran Petroleum Company with a capital of 200 million won. The Korea-Iran Petroleum Company constructed a refinery and other facilities for the full-scale distillation of crude oil. The company underwent name changes: It was named SsangYong Refinery, and then S-Oil.
The firm then grew to produce petroleum, petrochemical and lubricant products. Today, S-Oil claims to be one of the most profitable energy companies in Korea, with products exported to 40 countries.
