Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?

Any feedback for Toyota Fully Synthetic motor oil 5w40 or Shell Helix HX7 5w40, got my eye on them for my next OC sa 17 y.o. 4AFE ko. Ang alam ko lang, Group ll/lll base oil na din yata and almost same price lang sila, easily available naman sa market. Subukan ko FS, parang leak test kung okey pa mga oil seals at madami din nagsasabi, hindi hirap ang engine pag FS gamit, thereby improving FC in the long run.

I had a 4afe powered corolla before, and i had its first oil change since i got it and filled it with Shell Helix HX7 5w40, and after 5k kms, i changed it to FS Motul Htech 100 10w40, i noticed more tappet noise sa HX7 compared to Htech, yun lang, anything else is ok naman.

Had no experience pala sa Toyota Fully Synthetic.

Informed casa about it. They told me that I need to sign a waiver.

Does this mean they are voiding my warranty?

Motul din may gawa ng Toyota TRD FS oil, parang rebadged na Motul CRDi Specific. Both are good and will perform well, but i choose motul over shell.

I use Top 1 SDO in one of my vehicles. It's very good for the price. Just couple it with a good oil filter and OCI of 5000kms.

Ganito din sinabi ng mitsubishi naman sa amin. Under warranty pa montero. Told them na kung ok lang magdala ng oil and oil filter. Wala namang waiver na pipirmahan, note lang daw nila na ibang oil and filter ang ginamit na pag nagkadamage ang engine, its not their fault anymore, i guess waiver na nga yun.

Mobil delvac is for diesel engines, for gas engines use Mobil 1.

Delvac MX can also be used on gasoline engines requiring API service SL oil.

Diesel oils can be used on gasoline engines.
Gasoline oils on the other hand, cannot be used on diesels.

It can be used too. Just check for the ratings and description of the oil.

where it can't be used for are in Heavy Duty Diesel engines.

Price sa Ace nasa Php249 Less 10%. Sa may banawe daw sir mas mura mobil delvac mx but not sure which particular store. hindi pa ako nakapag canvass doon.
