Significant naman ang 6 decibels di ba? Hindi ko kasi maquantify kung gano kalakasang 6db.

6db is already noticeable by our own ears as long as same conditons ang before and after.

Hmmmm, how come ang mahal ng 2T ng Seaoil. 1 bottle is 40 petot, while Shell 2T is only 27 petot. What's special sa 2T nila?

Yes, given the same measurement condition, 6dB is quite significant. I'm just in doubt of the phone app, as it is obvious that a mobile phone is not designed for measuring sound levels. The app is merely simulating the function. I have a similar phone app and the reading is more sensitive (spiking higher) when compared to a real Sound level meter.

Well, even without the sound meter, imho and per my observation the engine sounds quieter in my rīg...

And yes, di ko rin maintindīhan why seaoil's 2t is more expensive.. pero shell's 2t is more expensive when you buy it in a gas station than in an automotive supply shop. Wala pa ako nakikita na seaoil sa mga latter shop.

Question... Is it ok to add a little more 2T into the mix? I filled up about 45L of vpower diesel yesterday and added approx. 220ml of petron powerburn, to a tank previously filled with vpower and caltex 2t. Sobrang pangit ng result. My car has an 88L tank and i was thinking i'd top off with 100ml of caltex 2t in the hopes of calming things down. Ok lang kaya?

This is to clarify my previous posts so as not to cause confusion for anyone looking to try this for the first time.
    Car: current pajero, 88L tank.
Fuel: vpower nitro diesel since day 1.
    13th of nov.--1st 2t experience was with shell decarb. 400ml: approx. 85L
No major improvement noticed, even past 100km
19th of Nov.--2nd, filled up just shy of the guage touching the 1/2 mark, 40.xxL. Added 200ml of caltex 2t. Ran a bit and noticed a slightly quieter engine, calmer idle, same throttle response. Nothing "night and day" as experienced by most. I think i was mostly trying to feel it at this point.
26th of nov.--3rd, topped off 45L and added 220ml of petron powerburn. Engine became clunkier, vibration and noise increased the first few days. Over the weekend, 29th of the Nov until the 1st of december, response improved. It seemed peppier and idling and vibration quited down. Drove it today(worked at home yesterday), and, Bingo! Maaaajor improvement. Much quieter engine, idling vibration and noise are now barely noticeable, even when parked. Parang nagin LC200 bigla ang smoothness ng pajero.
Topped off about 50L today and added the appropriate amount of Powerburn 2t which im sticking wtih for a while. Bottomline is, give it a chance to improve things, even after a few fill ups, and i guess maybe it wasnt such a smart idea to jump from one brand to the next. Give it a chance to work first, and then maybe, try the different options.

noticeable ang result lalu na sa mga lumang diesel gaya nung akin (4d56 turbo)....bukod sa mas pino andar eh halatang halata ang reduction sa particulate matter emission (in my case)....

last week bago ko nirehistro pipip ko eh kinargahan ko about 1/3 ng 220 ml bottle to 6.xx liters diesel. ayun, talagang bawas usok. pasado sa emission testing (kuno eh suki naman ako dun sa emission testing center). hehe...

Just sharing. Been a loyal user of 2T oil to my Space Gear 4M40T. The benefits I observe are enough to let me decide to stick to it

    hi!

after months of being a skeptic, i finally took the 2T plunge a few weeks ago... i am currently using unioil's lemon scented 2T (1:200 ratio) together with it's euro 4 diesel.

my subjective verdict... smoother and quieter idling engines both on the DI-D and D-4D. also smoother acceleration. i have yet to see if there's an improvement on the visible smoke and if there's a difference in fuel consumption.

my only regret... i should have started doing this a long time ago.

Your vehicles are both CRDIs? How old are they?

I've been adding shell 2t oil on my monterosport gtv 2012 model every time i fuel up at unioil way back when the odo reading was about 6k+ kms. I'm at almost 14k kms now. Indeed it lessen the vibration and noises during idling and much smoother acceleration. I believe it doesn't help with the black smoke issue though. Revving on the higher band of rpm would suffice. Good luck.

Oh well that's good. I always thought that the new CRDIs didn't like 2T.

Diesel owners that add 2T oil to fuel
