Hi Dieseldude. I just had my first Diesel engine (TDCi Duratorq). My previous cars are gasoline. Read a lot of EGR & SCV problems in Diesel engines blaming poor maintenance or fuel quality. Given that these engines are subjected to same casa maintenance, km, load, & fuel source, how come I read more complains on certain vehicle model or injection system? Do you have similar observations? Though It might have been addressed already since it takes time/km for the problem to show up.
What is the typical micron rating of OEM filter for Bosch 2nd or 3rd gen CRDI?
