September 22nd, 2011 12:17 AM #1451gud pm sir, our ride is a nissan power pick up bd25 engine. story goes this way.. bumisita ako sa calibration shop kasi manghang na usok ng pick up kahit idle. tapos pag arangka sometimes white usok. ginawa ay tinanggal ang injectors at ang sabi low pressure na daw. Ewan ko kon ano ginawa nilinis lng siguro tapos ikinabit. Pag andar rough yung idle pero pag ini rev ok naman. tinanggal ulit at pag kabit okay na. napansin ko sir humina talaga ang arangka lalao na pag naka ac. Pag start na tumakbo parang mamatay ang engine. Di ko na ibinalik dun kumunsulta ako ng ibang shop. Sabi nila ica calibrate ang injection pum so pinagawa ko. They found out na marumi daw ang pump nilinis lang tapos drain din ang tangke. After calibration ganun pa rin. here are the symptoms. Dalawang shop na pala ang gumalaw ng car mo. Wala ba kayong usapan sa warranty?
1. hina umarangka but after a while bumabalik parang delayed. hirap sa akyatan.
2. I noticed pag inapakan ko gas pag umabot 1k ang rpm parang nanginginig ang sasakyan pero pag lampas ok naman.
3. naging maingay makina. before hindi nman ganito.
4. parang short sa fuel sa palagay ko lang lalo na pag paakyat hindi nya ma sustain ang power.
need help talaga sir. ayoko ng pa calibrate muna baka ganun pa rin resulta.

Problem could be due to improper pump timing, a faulty injection system, or something wrong with the engine. Ano ba ang year model ng pickup mo? Ano na ang mileage?
Dapat mag-claim ka ng warranty para hindi na madagdagan ang gastos mo. At kung wala ka nang tiwala sa capability nila, maghanap ka na ng reputable diesel workshop. Pero handa kang gumastos ulit.

September 22nd, 2011 08:08 PM #1454Sa palagay ko, gagastos ka talaga dahil 17 years old ang pickup chaka 436K kms na ang mileage nito. No matter how well this car has been maintained, normal wear & tear has taken its toll on the whole vehicle.
Your earlier post mentioned about cleaning the injectors and the injection pump. At your present mileage, cleaning alone is not enough. Some parts will definitely need replacement. And in my opinion, an engine that has ran 436k and which has never been repaired will need an overhaul, not to mention checking the other vehicle systems.
Regarding your question about timing, hindi ako sure kung ma-dedetect pa ang correct timing sa tunog lamang. Pwede ito ilagay sa exact timing pero hindi ka makakasigurado na babalik and dating magandang andar kung may problem ang engine and/or ang fuel injection system.

Actually, the rattle starts when you rev higher. And we can hear it directly from the injection pump. Light rattle lang naman siya, parang tunog ng sprocket ng bisikleta when going downhill.
At least it disappeared after the pump was serviced (replaced parts from repair kit).

do you accept check up and free estimate at your shop at quezoncity diesel? I have an isuzu elf 4jg2 that i had it overhauled and calibrated and replaced the nozzle tips too. unfortunately im not contented w the trucks performance. Its running only at around 5kms per liter, white smoke every morning. Id like to have it checked and estimated how much to have the engine in tip top condition. All the parts replaced were original parts and not replacement. Who do i look for at your shop? you open on saturdays?

Its running only at around 5kms per liter, white smoke every morning. I hope that this only a timing problem. White smoke at morning starts is usually indicative of poor engine compression. What is your car's mileage?
