Hi can anyone identify these 2 pictures for me? car is a nissan patrol safari 1993 td42

1.) the hose in the picture is not connected to anything. parang putol or ganito ba talaga siya? is this a breather or what? i just wanna make sure kasi baka dapat naka connect to pala to something tas na tanggal lang
I am not sure coz I don't have the vacuum circuit for this vehicle. My mechanic says that this is an idle-up device which should be hooked up to a solenoid valve..





2.) what is this hose for? Not sure again. galing siya sa vacuum pump behind the alternator. kaya lng nag leleak ng oil din yung hose nato.
-is there a problem with the vacuum pump or seal? Possible.
-mechanic disconnected the terminal na kadugtong nito kasi it keeps the handbreak lights on lagi. baka grounded bec of the oil? Something may be wrong with the car's handbrake circuit.
