for ac filters siguro ok, but for engine intake I prefer original filters. one way to know if the filter works ok is to see if there is dust after the filtration especially on the throttle body.

According to the tests yes JS Asakashi is a Japanese company specializing in filters, however since they know that VIC prices are very cheap since the overall product quality is not good they tried another way of maintaining the overall product quality of their filters by sending the raw materials to S. Korea to be assembled to make the production costs lower, but the raw materials such as the steel, filter media, anti-drain back valve, steel core and rubber gasket is made in Japan then sent to Korea to be fully assembled base sa information I got is that is their way without sacrificing the quality of the filter by not skimping out on the materials used and by just lowering the production costs by making labor and operating cost lower by transferring the production to S. Korea but still using their in-house production of raw materials in Japan. Also they maintained the filter media to be a higher grade one compared to VIC. Also the pressure of JS brand has higher tolerance than VIC, since Nippon Micro T1636 has 2.4mPa, JS C-110J has 2.3mPa and VIC C-110 has only 2.0mPa before the filter blows up and can no longer keep the oil inside.

Nippon Micro still only strong for Visayas and Mindanao region.

question about oil filters, di ba hindi lahat ng filters may by pass valve yata tawag dun, mas ok ba ang may bay pass valve o wala? diba mas may chance na mag halo ang dirty oil sa engine pag may bye pass valve?

Every 5k using VIC oil filter and CI-4 15w-40 mineral oil.

Okay kaya na extend ako ng OCI to 6.5k-7k using OEM oil filter and OEM CI-4 10w-30 semi-synth oil?

    My car is 2.5 Mux.
    Oil capacity is 7 liters.
Approx. 120kms and 3 hours per day travel.
    40% city, 60% hi-way.

Masmahirap kapag wala kang engine oil sa engine magkikiskisan ang metal parts piston assy and piston ring against cylinder liner.

No good ang VIC filters as per filtration testing, yung filter media niya up to 87% max kaya linisin 40 microns of contaminants sa engine oil after 10 mins 81% of 40 microns kayang linisin and ang bilis magshrink or humina yung filter element ng VIC.
