    IMHO the Chevy Optra is a pretty decent car....in terms of price, style & performance.

    definitely a good buy.....hmmmm, i'm starting to sound like a car salesman? hahaha

    wala na palang rear..putol putol kasi yung images sa website ng a-toy eh..well if you have the tech&tuner mag november issue..there's an article there on the souped-up chevy optra..

    by the way, im confused dun sa red tag promo nila..nung nagpa-quote kami ng 1.6LS A/T 755K tapos less 15K pero yung sa newspaper ad nila mas mababa pa?

    AFAIK, there really is no problem with the 1.8, as this is close to the engine they use in the US version (2.0) and they're not complaining about it there.

    *SupreMacy, is that a 1.6 MT or AT? Almost all of the AT owners I've talked to complain of fuel consumption in the 4-5 km/l range.

    i've checked it twice already.
    from pasig to san miguel bulacan is around 160 km back and forth.
    it consumed a total of 18.2 L at first, then 18.0 L on the second time.

    Mga 8.8 km/l. Tama lang yun if it's during daytime traffic.

    The horrible consumption of other owners is really the fault of the A/T. Kahit mga lumang Ford Lynx at mga current na Focus ganyan (but word is Focus consumption gets better as the engine loosens up) kung 1.6 o 1.8 atsaka AT.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

    Oo nga hindi pwede pang racing minsan pa nga misshift pa ako sa sobrang long throw ng manual transmission ng optra..
