black smoke, walang hatak yan symptom barado ang egr valve. yan ang valve between exhaust & intake manifold to supply part of exhaust gas to engine intake to minimize NOx emmission.

please take note na hindi lang chevy spin ang merong ganyang problem.. pati ibang brand ng kotse na diesel meron ding ganyang issue dahil sa quality ng diesel na kinakarga..

maganda ba perfomance ng petron turbo diesel?

Maganda din sir. Yung pag dumi ng egr hindi po yan lahat dahil sa quality ng diesel na gamit. Inherent na dudumi kasi exhaust gas ang dumadaan dyan. Siempre kahit gaano ka linis ang diesel natural na may carbon/ soot na dadaan dyan. Regular maintenance cleaning ang dapat dyan.

Has anyone tried installing 3rd brake lamp for the LS? Park and brake seems to be sharing the same filament and im having hard time locating the ballast so that i could wire the lamp independently.

Share ko narin how to install..

Can't find OE connector so had to replace.

Best spot to tap is the connector nr the rear fender. You need to remove 2nd & 3rd row upper seatbelt mounts with a Torx.

Blue stripe brown

When park lights is off.

Turning on the park illuminates 3rd brake lamp, stepping on the brakes makes the light brighter.
My guess is there's a ballast somewhere connected in parallel with the brake switch.

Hndi po sya accessory, standard safety equipment twas deleted on the base diesel model. Badtrip pati wiring harness tinaggal din yung wire run sa brake at walang rear fog, single kontak ang brake/park light.

Eto best upgrade/accessory ko ngayon.. Halotron1 para magamit yung built-in holder[emoji16]

Magkano naman ang isang pirasong roof rail upgrade? Baka ochenta mil din eh syempre baduy naman kung isa lang kakabit ko kaya dalawa dapat, e di siyento sisenta mil na roof rail pa lang. Kano ang foglamps? Wagna, bili nlang ako sa banawe non oem at gawa ako sarili switch kasi tinangal din wiring at switch sa dash. Grabe tinipid ng chevy, kung hindi lang diesel at sobra tipid eh nag jimny na lang ako ulit.[emoji53]

Naghahanap ako ng kaparehang experience ko sa Spin 1.5 gas ko. 1 1/2 year na siya sa akin pero nagamoy gasolina sa labas at loob ng sasakyan. Nung dinala ko sa Chevrolet Pasig, may leak daw ang fuel line. Kung nagkataon nagdisgrasya pa buong pamilya ko. Ngayon sinasabi nila 45 days ang aabutin para maayos.

has anyone using 2015 chevy spin 1.3 LTZ manual? before buying it bcoz sales agent told me that this is a cable clutch and not a fluid type, is this true? and how about the performance when it comes to high hills with loaded passengers?

Diesel matulin kaya makipaghabulan sa big boys(nsa driver din), pinakagusto ko matipid P450 one way to bicol loaded with gamit. I will not recommend this now kasi mahirap pyesa at pangit aftetsales ng tcci.

Going to buy an MPV soon. We were already fixed on buying either an Avanza 2016 or Mitsubishi Adventure, when we saw the Chevy Spin - Diesel when we passed by the CASA today and was quite impressed with the look of the vehicle.

Any comments or suggestion before we go on buying one.

I'm still weighing which Avanza or Spin? Please give me Pros and Cons. Or if there is any issue on the Spin?
I read here that the factory is closing or closed so does that mean na wala ng pyesa makukuha sa Spin?

Yup, not recommended. In no time, Chevy will soon disappear in our market(poor sales figures) jst like during the economic crisis. Sana this time wagna sila bumalik sa Pinas[emoji16] Sinusulit ko na lang yung pagkatipid sa diesel to transport hi value product para ma recover yung cost.
