Greg here, LTZ diesel owner from Cebu. Reserved Sept 2013, got our unit Feb this year. Our 1st PMS cost us Php 5,5++ in 7 months (less than 6500 kms).
Receipt says Supreme Plus Synthetic (DEXOS2) 4 liters * Php676/L
Ours broke more than a week after the 1st PMS. But was replaced the next day. Total damage was Php3,4++. Asked to waive labor charge (since we had the unit less than a year) but instead offered that we will not be charged next time the belt fails. The vehicle warranty by the way does not include consumables.

Have a "small" issue with my LTZ gas. The silver button for Auto Gear handle or whatever they call it, is broken. Casa has given us a 1 month repair time. Spin is still usable. This is the less than stellar experience I have with Chevrolet. 1 month is needed to settle the broken part.

Aside from the usual freebies, my dealer if offering a rain guard and backup camera. Other dealers are offering the same, aside from these, can you suggest what accessories are useful for SPIN that can be negotiated as Freebies?

musta na status ng usok ng spin mo? yung sa kin naayos na. pati yung power ng turbo bumalik na rin. may leak daw yung linya ng hangin. sa chevy makati din ang nakaayos. dumating na yung special tool nila pang-verify ng turbo. try mo ipa-check dun kung may issue pa rin yung sa yo.
meron p rin tong sa akin, been observing it for sometime muna, di nman palagi, cguro mga around once per 2 weeks. lumalabas cya pag hinahataw ko, as in mabilisan n maabot ang more than 100k/h. pag nagsimula na, mga around 1 minute merong excessive black smoke, and babagsak to around 70k/h ang takbo. kahit tapakan ng todo ang gas di bumibilis, and lalo dumadami yung usok. lumalayo nga yung mga nasa likod ko s sobrang dilim ng usok. around 10k/l n lang average consumption ko ngayon, di tulad dati na 14 to 16.
thanks. dalhin ko uli this week. reprogram lng ng egr yung ginagawa nila palagi. nawawala nman cya after the reprogram pero bumabalik din cya after 1 week or 2.
i hope meron n ring pagtest dito s southwoods. di ko n madadala s malayo to, wala p or & cr.
Sir, saan daw yung leak sa intercooler? Balak ko i-blank ang EGR ang problem ko is hindi ko makita, parang nakatago sa heatshield ng turbo.
Wala ako makita manual netong JTD engine baka may expert na pwede makapag share. Eto yung exploded view of similar engine, i guess this is VGT version. Yung pipe nagcross i think is an oil pipe return for the oil cooler so hindi eto yung EGR pipe.

Mukhang related nga sa turbo yung problema nung sa yo kasi dapat mag-engage yung turbo at 2000 rpm. Ang ginagawa kasi ng turbo is to pump more air to induce more fuel burn. So kung high rpm ka na at kulang yung compressed air na nadedeliver sa engine, hindi ideal yung ratio ng fuel at hangin causing poor fuel combustion kaya maitim yung usok.
Maaring kapag nadetect na ng ECU yung under-boost pineprevent ka na nya na mag-over rev yung engine mo.
Vacuum gauge yung special tool na kailangan para ma-detect kung may leak yung turbo system ng makina. Sa ibang diesel engine built-in yun sa dash board monitor nila yung vacuum gauge.
