^^Matagal na wala ang spin dito sa market, around 2 years na ata if i'm not mistaken. The reason? It was overshadowed by its opponents when it comes to sales. What's more is that you dont get to see at least one of these plying the routes everyday. Maybe just rarely and with that, you know what it means. You've guessed it.

Btw, is this your 1st time purchasing a vehicle? If so, then i suggest you look for competing models of other brands instead. An avanza or mobilio is better because both toyota and honda have good aftersales support. However, if you dont want those two, then try to look at the ertiga, though i'm not sure abt. suzuki's aftersales... Good luck.

Bakit nga tinanggal sa market itong spin? When it was freshly launched marami naman ako nakita sa daan.

maybe the manufacturer decided, they had too many models competing for the same market?

No problem. Read other threads of other models too and backread ka lang. You can learn additional information about them from reading it.

Avoid Chevrolet ... stick with Japanese if buying used and not so well versed with cars ...

Chevrolet Spin is a 7 seater ... Chevrolet Trax 5 seater and a subcompact crossover ... which is priced similar to a Subaru XV ...

I just read somewhere na yun daw ang ipinalit nila sa spin sa other countries. Kaya naisip ko rin na it may be one of the reasons why na phased out na ang spin in the local market.

Stay away from Chevy if you don't have experience on high cost and scarcity of parts.

Rad fan motor is making some noise and have to go to the usual dramas in claiming to TCCI. Stupid thing with the instrumentation is that it doesn't have temp gauge to warn from overheating.good thing I have scanguage to monitor water temp.

I recently stripped the stud bolt and have to source parts, found out tbz and colorado shares the same rear and front studs which is cheaper than buying the original part number for spin. I have yet to check the crosswind/mux stud if it does fit which is much cheaper.

    Hello Guys.

Just an update from my side.

Again, nagkasira si Spin ko. ACU had a pipe broken.

Dinala ko sa casa a few days ago. Sabi nila pipe replacement ng aircon line.

They could not commit to a specific date sa pyesa. Knowing Chevy's spare parts availability, I was not expecting much.

My previous issues with spares had varying supply times from a week to four weeks so I was basing expectations from the past.

Sinabi ko din sa kanila na they need to improve spare parts availabilty as it is holding back a lot of potential customers.

To my surprise, they called up the following day and told me that the spare is available and ready.

Sent them my Spin who is now approaching 4 years old. They repaired the damage and I asked how much was the cost of the spares, freon, and labor. Since my unit is casa maintained for the past 3 and a half years, they told me that the bill is ZERO. All I had to do is sign the repair report.
And they reminded me that as long as the unit is maintained sa casa until its 5th year, all costs of repairs, spares, and labor on unexpected breakdowns are covered by their 5 year warranty bumper to bumper.

This experience shows that Chevy Ph is starting to listen to customers and is willing to exert the effort to meet customer requirements.

    chevy edsa?

thing is, they just need to order parts sa system. some SAs dont do this. hence long waiting times. meron at meron naman kasi deliveries from factories so its easy to get spareparts especially warranty stuff.

What part or where is the pipe positioned, near the compressor or heat exchangers? I guess ACU is generic as it is made by Sanden so ACU parts should be easy..

My ACU coldness is back to normal after replacement of failing radiator fan motor. Replaced under warranty but took them 1month for the motor to arrive from abroad.

Recently I am sourcing for replacement consumable parts as the end-of-warranty will be next year because I find casa parts sooo expensive, but to no avail-all parts outside casa are either OEM GM or ACDelco/ Delphi which are priced like casa.

Still the same impression, pricey parts & logistics problem, will not recommend Chevy or GM brand.

Can somebody confirm what specific replacement Bendix part number will fit the rotors. OE# ACDelco 19346786

    Bendix DB2262
    Bendix DB1748

Crossref shows they are both for Spin,Aveo,Sonic but no year model.

Stores are unsure also, will be needing the actual sample.
