Th low end MT variant starts at 800k definitely more affordable than Civics and Lancer EX.

hi guys,

newbie po and a proud cruze owner since may. count me in your list po Misty lake metallic LT. 15k on my ODO. been reading the threads for three days and all i can say is buti na lang nagmember ako dito sa tsikot. been experiencing the same problems like the aircon smelly thing, all i do is press the circulation twice to close the vent, umaayos naman po ang amoy, kaya lang when my car went to 15th km humina na agad ang aircon so i got my pollen replaced na agad. had it cleaned nung first PMS ko sa casa(sabi nila hinanginan daw just like the engine air filter) pero humina pa din ang hangin. unlike the previous cars that our family had own from GM (astra and optra) na kahit mga 50k sa ODO maayos pa din ang pollen filter nila. yung ingay sa breaks kapag umaatras, i also hear it sa mazda 3 ko so i guess nakakahiya man sa mga katabi pag umaatras ka sa mga parking and car wash, eh.. nasanay na lang ako. i tried having the rotor and the pads cleaned(sand paper) pero in a short distance of 500km, bumalik din ang ingay. hehe.. kaya sabi ko na lang... bahala na si chevy dito... haha! and also, pag cold starting, naririnig ko ang tunog ng mga valves sa initial rev ng engine tapos nawawala din, sabi sa casa normal daw iyon sa VGIS engine nila dahil umaakyat pa lang daw ang langis sa ibang parts ng makina. i hope that's true kasi di ko nadinig yun sa ibang oto na variable valve timing and sa optra ko dati. sana makasama ako sa eb ng cruze owners, para makapag share lalo ng mga insights ang mga cruze owners. mukang masaya yun! salamat sa mga insights dito sa forum guys... i hope nakapagbigay din ako ng onting info.

Thanks for sharing your experiences sir. Maganda rin ang color na misty lake metallic. What have you done to solve the aircon problem po?

HAHAHA. I am actually torn between Cruze LS AT and Fiesta Sport. Although ibang ang category and difference of less than P100K. Back read the whole thread, test drove both, and they are both nice cars.

Regarding the club sir, meron yan in the future, meron na nag start ng list, next is the meet up, you got support from Chevy Pasig, so, you Cruze owner's just need to make those plans for the club a reality.
