2010 Chevrolet Cruze!

What is your tire pressure?. So far Im now getting avg 14L/100km using Petron extra. Purely city driving with bumper-to-bumper traffic.

My tire pressure is 40psi, as recommended by my dealer. I do a lot of highway driving, but maintain that same tire pressure even when I drive in downtown Baguio or Manila. I'm using Jetti E10, I fill up at their Macapagal station before leaving for Baguio.

yup, nakapatay din yung engine Sir. sayang naman. mas magandang control yun na nala-lock siya kahit patay makina and perfect example is kapag accidentally naiwan mo na hindi na-lock kapag nasa public place ka. anyway, thanks sir! kita ko nga pala photos ng cruze mo, ang gwapo! pati accessories! dami nga sa ebay sabi mo, hanap lang ng pinakamababang offer + shipping cost.

About your accessories sir, did you bougth it with the same seller 'x3speedauto'? if you dont mind sir, kasi I ordered 2 same items like your chrome door handles and your window side visors to him.. wala na kasing magandang visors na iba aside from that style.
I added some orders like the stainless chrome under window trim and the stainless chrome trunk lid cover trim too.. Quite nice!
Can't wait for 3working days.. hehe Hope it will fit without ayn hassle.

hello cruzers! i am a newbie here. currently here in KSA and i am planning to buy a car when i go on vacation this december. i am already decided to get a city or a civic. but when i read this thread and saw the cruze, i have to think again. i love the looks and the interiors of the cruze. what i like in honda is their reliability and spare parts availability.

Mr. Awallit: I lived in pampanga and i have no idea how chevrolet pampanga performs with regards their customer service, promos, discounts and freebies they are giving. All i know is that chevrolet pasig is best so far. I just want to ask how many weeks do i need to wait to get a cruze LS AT including the papers, LTO, plate numbers, etc? If ever, my wife will be the one making transaction on my behalf so that when i got home from KSA, i already got my cruze. My vacation is only 3 weeks so i need to enjoy the ride while i am still on the Philippines. Can you give me a quotation for a cruze LS A/T?

Do have an idea as to when will the cruze hatchback be available there in the Philippines?

How about the spare parts of chevrolet? I mean the availability.

sir SiC, yes i think it was from 'x3speedauto'. can't be 100% sure coz i've erased all my emails for that purchase. but i'm sure 'x3speedauto' was one of the vendors i bought from. regarding the chrome door handles, you're supposed to order the set with only one keyhole (driver's door only). i'm sure i ordered that set but when my order arrived, the set had two handles with keyholes (including passenger door). I just installed it anyway. it's not so obvious.

Re FC, ya i'm happy with it. i didn't expect this FC for a 1.8 automatic.

You're absolutely right! That's because I'm still recovering from my accident last May wherein I wrecked my Optra. That's the reason why I have the Cruze, haha!

This is an update to the update to the update (of my FC).

Today, Sunday, I took off early morning for an out of town trip. I had the highway all to myself for almost a hundred kilometers. I was running on Petron Unleaded 93 Octane with an average speed of 75 kph (range: 60 to 110 kph).

My FC was 6.4 L/100km (15.6 km/L). (Pure highway)

Not bad. Not bad at all.

Then after the 100km stretch, I travelled for an additional 40 kms but this time it wasn't uninterrupted highway driving. There was about 20 kms of tortuous mountain roads and the rest of the distance I encountered road repairs, etc.

That gave me a final FC of 7 L/100km (14.3 km/L). (Highway plus mountain roads.)

Still not bad.

Got my final reading today on half-full tank Petron Extra an avg 13.4L/100KM (7.5K/L). Purely city driving.

Congratulations on your FC on the highway! I wanted to test eco-run as well on expressway or open highway to see the FC but Cruze is so smooth to drive below 100KPH. Naiinip ako kaya lagi lumalagpas I always getting 10 to 11KPL on the highway.

My cruze is white and it is hard to maintain as well. Right after my cruze was delivered, I had it Paint protected with optiguard. Easy to maintain, punas-punas lang with wet basahan tanggal kaagad ang dumi.

ah.. black.. i owned a black car before and all i can say is, you have to be patient with black colored cars.

tips:
1. wash wash wash
2. wax wax wax - as much as possible. kung pwede weekly.mag weekly
3. dry dry dry - wag hayaan matuyo ang tubig sa paint ng auto

Yup, I noticed the two sets of his door chrome handles that he's selling are different, one with 1keyhole and the other has 2keyholes. Thats why i instantly checked my front passenger door handle if it has some keyhole on it before placing my order.
Just hoping they'll deliver it correctly.
I just can't find some chrome under window trim with the chrome pillar that you have located at the end of your rear window. Thats why i just got the 4pcs of chrome under window trim... But its ok.. it will still gonna look good.

If your planning to maintain its flawless black color and avoid those acid rain or bits of dust, you can do what sir marlboro2010 has suggested by putting some protection like the 'Optiguard' by BB or the Diamond Gloss of Ziebart. Price is ranging from 4k+ i think.
But with mine, I just wash it with carnauba wash and wax every time I wash my cruze and had it wax with formula1 carnauba wax 2-3x a month. It also slides-off some dust and dirts and at the same time it protects it from those harmful acid rain drops.
Like Now.. I just got home that im about to park my car inside the garage, when suddenly it rain so hard that all droplets just slides off the body and glass windows..
