Hi there! Noob here. Bought my wife a super red cruze LT/AT for her bday - 6/27. So far, ang complain nya lang e maingay dw. Parang nkikipag-race when accelerating. Compared to my corolla, maingay nga xa. And isa pa, evrytym I stop in traffic tas nsa "drive" pa din ako, mei naririnig kming creaking sound when I semi-release the brakes (pra umabante ung car na onti). An opo sa tingin nyo? Sobrang wala ako alam sa cars e. Drive lang ng drive

Yung AT niya talagang sadyang very sensitive, na kapag mabilis at madiin yung pag press mo sa accelerator, nag da downshift siya at nag re rev up to 5000 rpm. Kaya malakas ang ugong ng engine. Kaya timpla timpla lang ang pag accelerate. Napansin ko kapag tumagal na at na break in na ung engine, di na siya masyado maingay.

Ung creaking sound pag release ng brake normal yun sa lahat ng AT, well halos lahat. Yun ang tinatawag na 'creep' ng AT, that is, may tendency na naka engage slightly kahit idle sa 'D'.

I agree with Sir epats in that apparently the bass is lacking.

I said 'apparently' because actually I could feel the bass in the very low frequency range. Then there is a sort of attenuation in the mid-range to high bass frequencies. They're just not there. You could feel the deep thump of the bass guitar but the pitch is vague, something like that.

Is there a way to fine tune the bass? I have to let go of my full sound set-up since it is not permitted to alter the wirings. Nasasayangan ng ako kasi ang ganda talaga ng quality.

Is the HORN sufficient, or needed to be replaced? I haven't tried the horn during the test drive. Thanks.

Think nothing of it. Malamang whenever it happens, you just had a car wash, and got the disc brakes wet.

Yes. There's a tone control to maximize the bass and lower the midrange and the treble. There are 3 different controls on the info system (bass, treble, and midrange). Although come to think of it, the perceived lack in bass might probably be because the tweeter is located near the windshield. 'just a thought..

About the horn, It's good quality. Bosch if i'm not mistaken. It's not high-pitched like a mini car. 'dami nga nai-inggit sa busina nya eh. Malakas kasi.

Question on the Sound Quality of the entertainment set-up of LS/MT: Pwede na ba? or Pwedeng pwede? Since we can't add/modify it until end of warranty. Appreciate your feedback, thanks.

For me pwede na especially if the source (CD, USB-iPOD) is good. What is lacking here is the loudness control which enhances the low and high frequencies on low volume level. Kaya you need to adjust the volume to high level ng konte to appreciate the sound. I think this is common on stock head units.

Walang problema dun sa nararanasan mo sa brakes, bago pa kasi, eventually kapag tapos na ang break in period nya, mawawala din yung creeky sounds sa brake...

Confirmed! It is 5x105 sherman.

I stand corrected! Medyo weird lang since outside measurement between studs is 100 unlike my Altis.

I tried fitting 5/100 and it really won't fit. Tried also 5/108, this time it fits but stud is not on the center of the hole. Thus, 5/100 is the perfect one for Cruze. Unfortunately, its not available yet on local dealers.

Good news is ROTA has manufactured mags already for 5/105 as confirmed by ROTA agent but has yet to release locally. Found out also that Cruze can accommodate up to 8" wide.

I've been also to Pasig Show Room last Thursday and met Allan. Yes, the mags are very nice. I'm still waiting from him the quote of the mags I listed.

I went back last Friday and tested also the SPRINT booster. I tried 2 rounds lang at streets at the back of Pasig Showroom. Yes its really works. The acceleration improves. There are 3 modes to choose GREEN - improve response on smooth driving and RED - improves response on aggressive driving and NO COLOR - stock config.
I'm still waiting also for his advice on this if there is spare unit to test at least 1 to 2 days before I decide to get one. Medyo may kamahalan din eh.

wag constant ang speed, meaning 40,50,60,70,80 etc...wqag magstick sa iisang speed..basta wag ka lang mag-over RPM sa 4000. idealistically, 2k-3k RPM.....( i think its in the owners manuals) para ang mga bearings at psiton rings ay makalap[at ng mahusay sa kanilang kinalalagyan...mapapansin mo yung mga bago pang sasakyan, mausok na???? piston rings yun....hinataw ng husto di pa tapos ang break in period.....

Sa Pagpreno, dapat dahan dahan lang...magbrake lang ng madiin kung kelan lang kinakailangan......so drive carefully....

After ng Brake in, pwede ng ihataw at wala ka nang pangamba.....

wala na din yung ekek sounds sa brakes.....

Just to add broSG, ganyan din sa KIA Forte(Cerato) ko.....

Kapag bago, ganyan talaga.....Minsan ang handbrakes ay kailangan pa ng adjustment....kapag sa huling click kapag inactivate, ay nagmomove pa din ang kotse kapag tinapakan mo ng konti ang silinyador ng naka D o Reverse ka....Dalhin kaagad sa casa at di ito safe....
