Just got my cruze at last.
A very very stress weekend, busy day and a hell of work to do. Quite disappointed cause of the long hanging false hope for the Pewter Gray color to be delivered last week and they just told me to wait for another month. And the only available color for the LS MT model are Carbon Flash Metallic, White and Silver. Have a hard time thinking between the Carbon Flash and the silver color.
Thought the black is really for the meticulous person who always cleans his/her car everyday to avoid any small dirt and dust in it while the silver is the one for those who love to see their car clean at all time without cleaning it.
After a week of staring, glancing, searching and a lot of surveys, I chose the Carbon flash metallic due to its elegant, outstanding color and much better color than the silver & total black color of the captiva.
But I can't still get the pewter gray out of my mind with the "what if" question going through. Though the carbon flash metallic is still awesome. hehe

Posting some pic soon.. Out to buy some door guard. and a lot of wax and cleaning kit. hehehe

Btw, just a question. Is a silver chromed side rain visor would match a black car? is it ok for the carbon flash metallic? thanks.

They told that the wrap around kit cost 135k. While the 18" rims with semi-racing tires cost around 140k. Quite a crap to hear it on the first place.. But its true! Someone correct this if im wrong.
Saw some rims like that around qc and its like 40k, and they're gonna less something if your willing to swap your 4 sets of wheels with it.

Anyone seen their model unit located at trinoma mall. They said its a more souped-up cruze.. Can someone verify this? Thanks..
    ----

That will be a crap price indeed if it is true. The kit price including the mags, tires, spoiler and the wrap around skirts is 182K only.

Can give discounts if taken as a package with the new Cruze.

    Salamat sa inputs Sir.

    * Epat

Here, check this website. You can view per color. This is the same as chevrolet cruze. It's just rebadge as Holden in Australia

Test drove the Cruze LS A/T today but only drove it for <10 minutes though.
Throttle response is good, though brakes are kind of wanting for more grip.
Rear middle seat back support is very stiff (due to the center armrest).
Goes through humps and bumps pretty well.
Interior looks classy. Trunk space is cavernous.
Only quirk if ever we'll buy one is its resale value.
Other than that, I guess it's for keeps.

Sa pagcheck ng responsiveness ng isang sasakyan sa test drive, magsakay ka ng 3 pang pasahero, then doon mo tiyak malalaman ang responsiveness ng makina at braking power nya.....

Cruze * 1.6liters has 111hp lang plus add the heavy body weight.......

I guess thats the reason they don't sell the 1.6 model in the Philippines.

The Cruze 1.6 is just 5kg lighter than the 1.8 model.
    Power: 111 hp (113 PS) * 6400 rpm
    Torque: 153Nm * 4200 rpm
    1.6 M/T: 1285 kg, 0-100 km/h: 11.8 sec , Top Speed: 115 mph (185 km/h)
    1.6 A/T: 1310 kg, 0-100 km/h: 12.9 sec , Top Speed: 112 mph (180 km/h)

The Singapore spec model seems to have a weaker 1.6 liter engine.
    Power: 107 hp * 6000 rpm
    Torque: 150Nm * 4000 rpm
    1.6 M/T: 1285 kg, 0-100 km/h: 12 sec , Top Speed: 185 km/h
    1.6 A/T: 1310 kg, 0-100 km/h: 13.5 sec , Top Speed: 177 km/h

Thank you very much, sir! You are more helpful than the manual!

I agree with Sir epats in that apparently the bass is lacking.

I said 'apparently' because actually I could feel the bass in the very low frequency range. Then there is a sort of attenuation in the mid-range to high bass frequencies. They're just not there. You could feel the deep thump of the bass guitar but the pitch is vague, something like that.

    Congratulations, Sir SiC!!

Pewter gray is nice but Black is also very nice!

A chromed rain visor is not my cup of tea, but, if it looks good to you, why not?

Hi there! Noob here. Bought my wife a super red cruze LT/AT for her bday - 6/27. So far, ang complain nya lang e maingay dw. Parang nkikipag-race when accelerating. Compared to my corolla, maingay nga xa. And isa pa, evrytym I stop in traffic tas nsa "drive" pa din ako, mei naririnig kming creaking sound when I semi-release the brakes (pra umabante ung car na onti). An opo sa tingin nyo? Sobrang wala ako alam sa cars e. Drive lang ng drive
