Yes I agree. My dad's car only has a small portion of the windshield tinted like a sun visor and it is a lot more visible at night.

about "lightest tints".
i have two near-identical vehicles. one has no front tint, and the other has lightest tint, c/o first owner.
and i tell you, driving at night,
whatever else anyone says,
"there is a difference".

in the very near future,
i will have the tintero guy remove it.

Hinde. Mazdas namin naka halogen projector pero walang autoleveling. Buti pa yung H4 reflector ng Subaru may manual leveling that can be adjusted from a roller on the dashboard.

Some subcompacts like the Vios already have projectors din. Most likely wala rin leveling yun.

This is very true. Daming truckers na may skin cancer, and in some cases you can see visible sun damage on their arm and face on the window facing side.
IMO ok lang no tints for a weekend toy that you only use occasionally, but especially with our climate tints are pretty much required for a daily.

i haven't noticed any such local incident... must be our darker skin, protecting us from UV.

Nasa around 10k and good retrofit. You can buy a good LED at around 1k up to 3k. If I were you Id try the 1k LED and see if the upgrade is already acceptable.

I don't think you can get a good retrofit for 10k. Good ones start at 16k and should include bulbs, ballasts, projectors, and labor. If you're putting HIDs in reflector housings not designed for them then shame on you.

LEDs are getting brighter. The main issue is if the throw was properly designed to work with the existing housing and not emit glare.

Redline vs mga cheap retrofitters, para kang nagcompare ng Camry vs Vios. Tatakbo rin naman yung Vios, just nowhere as good as a Camry.

G5R projector palang 8k na cheapest without shipping pa. Osram CBI D2S is 9-10k. If someone sells you a retrofit for 10k it obviously doesn’t have these high-end parts.

I had my Mirage retroffited by them last June 2019. So far so good, wala naman naging problema. Grabe yung light output, without blinding others. I think same price as yours yung akin.
