Have a 1999 Toyota Corolla XE (Carb engine)
Had the Khaos installed in 2003 and still have it.
Used to travel from Binan to QC everyday (50km one way)
Average travel speed is around 70-80kph
Prior to Khaos - Gas consumption was around 11-12km/liter w A/C
With Khaos - Gas consumption improved to 13-14km/liter w A/C

    Travel to pampanga (100km-one way)
    average travel speed 80-90kph
Prior to Khaos - Consumption around 12-13km/liter
With Khaos - consumption improved to 15-16km/liter

Now, my wife uses the car (Binan to Sta. Rosa) around 25km daily
    Her consumption is about 11-12km/liter
    Car is still running smoothly.

My mechnic says it works well with carb engines only... Agree with it since my dad used it on his Ford escape and didnt notice any improvement.

Looks like there is no update in this particular thread.

Maybe we can reminisce a little from an old thread from another site:

i bought a 2nd hand one and it gave me an additional 1.5km/L. pwede na. around 12-15% saving yata. but BS yung up to 50% savings

i also have to change the filter (green scrub pad lang) every 6 months

i've researched about it. the theory is correct but the mechanics to fully achieve this on the device is not perfect. it does work to a cetain extent.

unfortunately, you could tune your car and produced the same thing.

it only works on carb engines pero may nakita ako sa VTI

i've also seen a device for deisel engines pero hindi khaos.... but that's a different story

The sad thing is you could have simply replaced the jet of your carb to a smaller size and get exactly the same or even better results.

    Hi guys!

my galant vr v6 is installed with khaos when i bought it. i just want to get rid of it after reading the bad comments.

i can't seem to find the switch to disable it. can anyone point it to me please ? or can i just block the tube coming from the device?

ang foul ng smell galing sa tambutso e, it might be caused by it.

    TIA.

I think there is no switch to disable it.

    have to remove it manually.

The hoses are connected to three points, the KSTC, intake manifold and a sensor or brake booster. Be sure to trace them so you know what to screw back together.

To remove it from the engine, just remove the "T" fitting and use the longer length of vacuum tubing to connect the hose from the intake manifold to the sensor or brake booster. Nothing difficult. Just remember to correctly tighten the hose clamps.

meron akong nakuhang revo na merong nakainstalled na khaos. using it for 4 months and then i decided to removed it kasi nabasa ko dito about khaos and thinking na kung kailangan ng ganitong setup dapat ang nag lagay na nito ay yung mga enginner ng auto. notice ko after removal mas gumanda ang hatak ng engine. the mechanic just removed the t-fitting connection to the khaos and reconnect the air hose.
