Anyway kawawa talaga ung mga nabiktima nitong KHAOS na to.
I came across a late model Nissan Cefiro at a gasoline station with it's engine overheating. I also spotted it is equipped with a KSTC. The driver reported that the car consumes as much fuel with the KSTC as without it. He also said the engine feels a bit slower to accerate after the KSTC was installed.

Unfortunately, he is just a driver and not the owner.

i was not lucky enough to read this thread regarding CHAOS (khaos ba?) turbocharger before i bought mine. The result: i became a member of the elite KHAOS PAPERWEIGHT CLUB.
Actually i recorded increase in mileage from 8 to 10 km/Li after the installation so i was quite impressed at the start. But after 2 months of data gathering, i concluded there was no significant change. The increase during the initial installation was only due to my long distance driving during that.
I uninstalled mine after 2 months.
I offered it for sale to my barkadas but no one wants to buy.

hey! pakibilang nga yong mga KHAOS PAPERWEIGHT CLUB member dito.
kahaba na kasi thread... hirap magbilang. he he.

    what about the unit?
I`m keeping it hoping someday to sell it to a museum for the title "the greatest paperweight hoax!!!".
Buti na lang pala... binasa ko ung thread na to... I, too was planning to buy one after my dad got one... he told me okay naman daw at nakatipid siya from 8-10 km/liter tumaas yung mileage niya. Tingin ko psychological ung effect sa mga current users...

Buti na lang d pa ko bumibili nito. to this thread.

I suggest the you read the whole thread. There is no such thing as a fuel saving device.

I used all kinds of gas saving methods before... from the cheapo stuff to the costly Khaoz and K&N air filters.

I should have saved the money. Regular tuneups with fully synthetic oils, iridium plugs and about 88ml of acetone in the gas tank has kept the mileage of my 2.0L civic to 9km/L on the regular month.

just remove the white plastic "T" junction that leads to your engine's intake manifold (vacuum line) and reconnect the original vacuum hose where it supposed to go.

As for the actual unit, just unbolt it from where they installed it.

    Just an update:

Nothing to do with google.com so I typed in KHAOS SUPER.

Surprise! The search results came out with lots of websites selling and promoting/pushing the said gadget abroad. 3rd year anniversary din pala. I wonder if I should go visit their booth at the upcoming auto-salon?

Look at some "facts" posted on those websites:

The catalytic converter, on the other hand, is a terminal post-combustion device that filters and deposits the pollutants in it's chamber but requires periodic replacement at huge cost.
Q: HOW EFFECTIVE IS KHAOS ON ENGINE WITH HIGHLY SOPHISTICATED FUEL AND EMISSIONS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM?

A: KHAOS HELPS THE SYSTEM BY SUPPLYING THE ENGINE WITH THE IDEAL AMOUNT OF AIR IN A TIMELY MANNER AT IDLING CONDITIONS. THE DEVICE WILL THEN AUGMENT THE NECESSARY AIR NEEDED, DUE TO THE INEFFICIENCY OF THE SENSORS AND MOTORIZED VALVE CONTROLLERS TO COMPREHEND THE EXCESSIVE AND UNUSUAL VARIABLITY OF INCOMING STREAMS OF DATA. WHICH, AT SOME POINT FEEDBACKS COULD NOT BE PROCESSED IMMEDIATELY BY THE MICROPROCESSOR. THEREFORE, A SLIGHT DELAY IN REACTION TIME OCCURS, BUT, THESE DELAYS ARE STILL WITHIN THE MALFUNCTION THRESHOLDS THUS THE MALFUNCTION INDICATOR LIGHT WILL NOT ILLUMINATE.
