July 22nd, 2017 12:28 AM #34Thanks for the inputs! As a car guy myself who puts value to performance, in this case, I have to consider my kids needs too. Based on what you guys are telling about the FJ, it may not be suitable for them. Aside from being my alternate car, it will also function as a family vehicle.

July 22nd, 2017 12:39 AM #35Not considering the Grand Carnival? Definitely lots of space for your kids and fully loaded with power this and power that. Your family will love you for it. The Santa Fe engine also makes it an excellent sleeper. 😆

July 22nd, 2017 01:31 AM #37IMHO pag Starex o Alphard, yan talaga ang maganda pag may driver. Minivans, di pa gaano. 😆
We have the previous gen. While it is a 7 year old van, it's still quite a looker in black. Recently it also became the first Carnival in the country to be chipped by Speedlab. While still not as brutal as the Santa Fe, power delivery is very linear all throughout. It just doesn't run out of breath!

July 22nd, 2017 01:47 AM #38If you're going to consider Grand Carnival, how about the Sorento 4x2 variant? It's around 300k cheaper than comparable Carnival.
Though if you have a budget that big, my personal pick would be the Pajero or stretch a bit for new CX-9.
Or maybe you could consider this [emoji16]

Imo putting the shifter within the dashboard area(Ala Hiace) seems to be a better play here given...
