Pajero talaga the best. I bought one for the very reason na hinde ko kaya bumli ng LR Defender. the thing is kasi dito sa tin masyado tayo fascinated sa LR Defender kasi it's like for Safari, pero yun pala South Africans and Middle Easterns, patay na Patay sila sa Pajero BK kasi ang perception sobrang tibay ang Japanese car na ito. did you know that Pajero can run even with the dirtiest diesel na makukuha sa desert or sa African Junglem ganun katinde ang Pajero engine, watch youtube videos about this, in fact, talo pa nga ng Pajero ang Land Rover sa durability daw. Land Cruisers well it's for the rich Arabians and South Africans but the Pajero is is the 2nd best nila talaga para pang harabas sa African continent.
so hayun, kung ayaw mo FJ, mag-Pajero. you'll never go wrong with this tank of a car.
i clean engines too, you 'll be surprised how simple the engine layout of the Pajero vs. sa mga mga bago diesels ngaun like Korean crdis and new PPVS. sabiko ito lang yun laman neto engine pero sobrang powerful ah. yun mga PPV dami pa complex design pa, pero Pajero sobra simple yet sobrsng useful
diesel ang kia. ang honda van hindi. huge factor...

para sa kin kahit anong soccer mom van, never na ako bibile. I had the Chevrolet Venture before, good riddance. I hate driving the body style van. parang kang buntis, although male naman ako di po na experience ma buntis. pero panoorin nyo ulet ang MR. and Mrs. smith ni Brad Pitt, may sinabi si Brad Pitt dun eh tungkol sa van nila, tawang ako ng tawa
The Carnival doesn't lack for safety features, if you're comparing like price to like price.
Also... the base 11-seater model is a downright steal at under 2m.
The Odyssey is cramped in comparison, and the rear suspension is too stiff. The stiffness is excuseable in a sports sedan like the Accord, but in a people carrier like the Ody, it's out of place. The GC rides much better, and handles just as well as the Odyssey. And the diesel 2.2 is a much better engine than the gasoline four-cylinder in the Honda.
The Grand Carnival is a reasonably good buy compared to other premium MPVs, if you're looking for an MPV.
A toy it is not, though.
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
^I've always believed that Honda PH made a bad decision when they decided to replace the USDM Odyssey with the smaller JDM Odyssey. It feels like USDM Odyssey : Sienna and JDM Odyssey : Previa.

The Php2.2M 7 seater model still makes do with 2 airbags, and doesn't have Stability Control, which is already present in many mid-spec PPVs. The odyssey, on top of these, has a blind-spot monitoring, 360-view camera etc.
It would have been a runaway winner if they loaded it with Odyssey-level features, even it pushes up the price to match the Odyssey.
I have been reading a lot about the suspension of Odyssey being rather unrefined. Just how bad is it?

Actually ride is okay, my dad and bro-in-law has the Odyssey. No complaints on the ride quality.
I've taken it to out of town trips with friends seated at the back, they were actually very comfortable.
My only complaint on the suspension is it's a bit noisy on bumps.
For the price, the Odyssey is a good buy. It's loaded with features, has enough space for a small family.
According to Kia PH's Grand Carnival brochure, the 3.3V6 variant has all the safety features mentioned above, and it seems like Doc BJ has no problem with fuel consumption either.
Though personally, I'm fine with the safety features the diesel has. Heck, the only safety features I require are brakes that bite, seatbelts and probably ABS and side impact beams. 😅

If I had a good PC, I don't think I'd ever choose Xbox over PC.
But, the simplified combat system seems a better fit for consoles. I'm personally not a fan. Having played Chivalry, I felt like the combat was lacking a certain freeness and depth. And with Mordhau and Mount & Blade 2 coming out, I can't really justify buying the game.
You do you. It seems like a much more laid back game, so console's probably the better choice.
