Oops OT na talaga to'.
Yes, grabe talaga improvements. Pero nawawala momentum nila...
May pila ang Adventure, Pajero, Strada, L300 and Outlander. The new model they have is the Fuzion tapos walang diesel. Kaya nga parang nawala ang momentum.
Plus, if they were to revive old models such as the L300. They should have made facelift na rin. Its been 20 years already. That's what Toyota did in their Aussie LC70Heck, they could also revive the Gen 2.5 Pajero line-up by selling it around 1.3M-1.4M with the 4D56 CRDi :whoa: Not so fancy materials in it, Easy Select 4WD so on and so forth. Pwede nga, they make the Gen 2.5 fitted with Solid Front Axles, New engine, not so fancy interior and sell it in the Australian market. The Patrol is still booming there even with its fancy components.
The Lancer will be coming soon, but I heard rumors straight from Mitsubishi na baka it will not be launched by December 2007 or January 2008. Sana that manager is only playing with me para mainis ako. Plus, wala pang Gen 2 Montero Sport based on the New Triton.Last edited by drey; October 12th, 2007 at 06:31 PM.

Off-topic....
Its not a revival, we just never stopped making the 1st gen 80's L300 in the RP. It even outlived the 2nd gen L300 introduced here...
Why no facelifts? No development, Mitsubishi here is just using the same tooling as they did in the 80's and 90's... the only things they can change are stuff like fabrics, aircon, stereo, wheels etc. I don't think Mitsubishi Motors Philippines has the resources to do an RP only facelift on the obsolete 1st gen L300.
Here's something only a few know, when the L300 arrived here, it was already facelifted since it was already at the end of its model cycle. It was first released back in 1980 elsewhere making it 27 years old. Its about the same age as the box-type Lancer, this explains the similar boxy styling and interior details.
This is an early 80's L300.
Anyway, back to topic, I saw a couple of them during the last 4 weeks... I really think they should add a diesel variant for the RP(its not that popular in Taiwan) this is the main advantage of the Innova aside from its better proportions, and they should upgrade the base Fuzion with at least a driver's airbag, that would make it a better buy.Last edited by AG4; October 15th, 2007 at 04:36 PM.

AFAIK the Delica has a turbo because it's intended for the Japanese market and Japanese motoring scene where they do pass around mountain passes and high altitude roads wherein air is less dense making naturally aspirated engines less efficient necessitating the use of turbochargers in them. In the local motoring scene wherein we are driving close to sea level, a turbocharger is no longer that much of a necessity compared to Japanese driving conditions...

November 7th, 2007 11:49 AM #65good day to members...im a neophyte here in your forum and i found this site seems to be very helpful to us first time car owners or lets say un mga me balak bumili ng "tsikot".
..
btw, me plano kasi ako to purchase a mitsubishi fuzion gls sport ,sa may paco branch ako pumunta, and i already had a reservation of 5t to get a 50th+ discount on my cashout and also to choose from the variety of colors there..na attract kasi ako sa fuzion for the interior, like un dashboard, un climate control, un comfy seats, tire pressure monitoring device, reverse alarm, and etc na lahat ng optional accessories was been given by their branch..not considering what type of engine and the fuel consumption...ngaun lng me ngread ng mga post na malakas pala sa gas ang fuzion..bigla tuloy ako nagisip to shift for a INNOVA na A/T pa rin, tamad kasi ako mgdrive e...
what do you suggest mga bro, whats the differnce also sa Innova G or V na A/T? Nu mas maganda?
Nawalan na ko gana sa Fuzion based on your comments but i love the looks of its interior, sayang nga lang masyado pala matakaw sa gas...im live in san andres bukid and im work in banawe, and maybe sa weekends umuuwi me sa batangas.
advise lng mga bro...

Both are good ..... they have both pros and cons...... one of the factors that might affect any prospective buyer is the disc./promo and freebies.... kaya yung mga tsikoters dyan na connected to toyota and mits car dealers penge gud discount and freebies.... hehehe....
