oo bro. parang stigma na yan at common notion na kapag high mileage means laspag na. can't blame a potential buyer to think that way. since medyo enthusiast tayo about detailing, the car paint is still in pristine condition and the engine bay looked clean too. they always said sariwa pa [emoji4] but when they see the odo reading, that's the deal breaker lols! i hope to reach the 200k kms probably by 1st quarter next year.

June 8th, 2018 11:08 PM #336my honda city 1.3S 2005. about 131,000km on the clock
was using the original front brake pads until i replaced them earlier this year. they were still thick but i decided to replace them anyway coz i was doing a brake fluid replacement
had to replace the front wheel bearings last year. only one side was noisy but i replaced both of them anyway
had to replace the a/c clutch coil about 2 years ago
honda replaced the driver's window switches for free. this was a recall. water ingress issue i think
all panels have never been repainted. everything still w/ original paint
other than those things i never had to fix anything. needless to say, a very reliable cari wonder how much longer i could keep it before it gives me any REAL problems

June 8th, 2018 11:52 PM #339oh i forgot to mention i replaced the tires. that counts as a real problem too. right?
no seriously, the bearings were a wear-and-tear issue just like the tires.
so basically the only thing that ever broke was the a/c clutch coil. that's pretty good i'd have to say for an almost-13yo car.
oh wow. based on your experience w/ the same car what major and minor issues would i be encountering? i'm planning to keep it for a few more years...
oh btw i do get your avatar picthis facelifted city was called city ZX in other markets

Hehe probably a general overhaul (gasket, oil seals) somewhere down the line. Ang usual repairs naman is the lower arm suspension bushings. I think having a manual tranny also contributed to that mileage. We all know about the first generation honda cvts. Hehe
