Friend's 1st facelift (2013-2014) LC200 is at 400k kms already and is running like a tank. Nothing needed outside of regular scheduled maintenance.

I doubt if EVs are for long term ownership like the vehicles here

    Nope wala pa naman daw.
Though he's done tranny oil change a few times na -- service interval is every 90k IIRC, just drain and fill. The guidelines actually say "inspect" lang but might as well drain and fill since it's not that hard to do.
There are people putting LC200s to much heavier use than we typically do. AUS super alikabok and madalas loaded with gear minsan may tow pa na trailer.

^ Meron din Naman mga a/t tranny Ng Toyota vehicles bumigay na din. Dito na Lang sa forum Meron may mga nag-iinquire kung saan pwede magpagawa Ng mga naglolokong trannies Ng mga sasakyan nila.

Although, I have no idea if same Ang manufacturer Ng a/t trannies ng Toyota across all their vehicle models.

Yes, meron nga siguro pero not that common. May mga toyotas ba na naka-jatco transmissions? Better make iwas those. Yung mga aisins nila mostly parang okay naman in general. Also noticed wala din silang dcts unlike some other brands.

I believe they only used Getrag 1-time(for vehicles designed by them/daihatsu) in the Supra apart from that Aisin all the way for them.

Toyota owns Aisin so they'll almost always use Aisin by default, outside of badge-engineered cars or special applications where they don't have an appropriate tranny.

Nissan-Mitsubishi owns JATCO so it's more commonly used in those brands.

How about Hondas? From whom do they source their trannies from?

For most cars Honda make their own transmissions, but also get from suppliers like ZF for higher-end models (mostly Acuras).
