Unfortunately, manual fans won't be too happy as the only gearbox option is an 8-speed wet dual-clutch. Power is then sent to the front wheels with a trick e-LSD, helping minimize understeer.

For me, DC trannys suck...

if PMS (papalitan bago masira yung parts) - mas mura yung A/T
if normal person (papalitan yung part kasi sira na) - mas mura yung M/T

perhaps it is because those who espouse it, are either too few, or don't actually go out of their way to buy one.

personally... ang hirap bilhin ng MT.

using the new City as an example... 40K diff between the MT and entry level CVT

pero the CVT version has a better headunit.

sobrang pagmamahal mo na lang sa MT if you decide to upgrade the small things na kailangan natin sa 2021 car.

the dealers are pushing their ATs and CVTs to the costumers' noses,
and are introducing their MTs only as an afterthought...

The concern for M/T cars is resale value

By getting an M/T, you’re severely limiting the number of buyers for your car in the future.

Many wont buy a manual car unless its a “toy”

Eh iba na nga naman kasi ang mga automated transmissions ngayon, unlike dati na sluggish and inefficient. Naaalala ko pa rito dati tong si d_mac or hndmaxsiado (isuzu super fanboy) na todo tanggol sa manual tranny. Ang hilig magbida bida eh samantala iba iba naman ang preferences ng mga tao hehe. 😂

Because automatics were rubbish decades ago. Metro Manila traffic has also gotten significantly worse.

A manual with a torquey engine is quite fun though
