hirap talaga pag desisyunan to. at the end, user preference talaga. pero kung nirarayuma ka na, at laging traffic ang dinadaanan mo, gugustuhin mo na din mag a/t.

pag dumadaan ako sa españa manila, haaay, how i wish A/T ang oto ko.

back to topic, nasa gumagamit din kasi eh kasi kahit luma na yung sasakyan kung maalaga yung gumagamit either a/t or manual would still do.

With an A/T at 5 years old, you might need to replace the ATF fluid & filter and thats it. The tranny itself should last 10 years or longer with regular ATF fluid and filter replacement.

With an M/T at 5 years old, you would need to replace the clutch kit if the driver was abusive or has a bad habit of riding the clutch. You will also need to periodically adjust the clutch as it wears down in normal use (or at least for cars with a cable type clutch, I am not sure about those with a hydraulic system).

I think he means "WHILE" it functions well. Or, "UNTIL" it breaks down.

If you're young and living in a budget get a M/T
If you're older and not constrained within a budget get a A/T. If you're old with lots of money you wouldn't mind a stalled car because by then you can afford a towing service without heartache.

He.he.he. If you are driving and suffering from gouty arthritis, better get an AT vehicle.

i've been driving manual for 2 years pa lang.. its an innova gas manual 2009 model.. pinili namin manual kasi nga matipid din at pagnagstall matutulak mo pa at un sa baha, pero in my opinion now, i want a automatic.. grabe sakit ng paa sa clutch lalo na pag grabe traffic (most of the time di maiiwasan tlga)

i'm still 24 and nakakangalay talaga ang clutch pag nasa traffic ka un slight andar then stop uli then slight andar and repeat. pero sarap mag drive manual pag nasa highway and expressways control mo tlga speed mo, pero i would be trading in our innova mt gas for an automatic diesel 2 years from now pag tapos na bayaran yun 4yrs loan ng innova namin, di ko pa lam un next baka fortuner, or pag may bago ng labas na crosswind next gen or innova next gen ^_^

iniimagine ko n magdrive ng automatic.. sobrang kakapagod kasi pag manual although mamimiss ko siguro magclutch and stick shift left down center up sarap magdrive ng ganon pag nagpapakitang gilas ka pa sa mga kasama mo. but i prefer comfortability, expensive maintainance and less tiring over porma, tipid and pahirap

Usually, these days manual transmissions are the low end variants of a car model, so kung porma ng pagmamanual eh nababawasan din eh. At the end mas murang maintenance at gas lang talaga lamang ng manual eh.

The traffic flow in the most common route you take will greatly impact your choice of tranny. If maraming traffic jam, AT na lang. If hindi naman, the Mt would be cheaper to maintain and give you better FC.
