    2 kasi cause nyan.

Madalas may bird poop dun e. Walang bang high quality car cover na iiwas dun sa mga sinabi mong disadvantages?

everytime you slide that cover over the paint, that cover will always create hairline marks.

kung di maiwasan ang bird poop dapat palagi ka meron sa car na quick detailer at mf towel at mapunasan mo agad yung poop. don't allow it to dry and linger sa paint else kapag dumikit mahirap matangal at mag-etch sa paint.

I see. Do you have any recommendations for a quick detailer?

It varies on the engine of the car. Just check the owner's manual.

For turbocharged gas engines, it is common that they require a minimum 95RON. I use Petron XCS or Shell V-Power Nitro+ for my Fiesta Ecoboost and Forester XT. I think Honda's new 1.5L turbo engine requires a minimum of just 91RON.

Rain + Sun, kukupas yung color, pero basta pantay yung discoloration, halos di mo mapapansin...

May bad experience ako sa bird poop sa Kuala Lumpur, yung rental car ko itim (I never owned a black car). Naiinis si misis kaya I decided to buy a small mineral water tapos binuhusan ko yung poop then punas ng tissue. Nagkaroon ng light scratches yung paint buti na lang di napansin nung employees nung binalik ko yung car.

Right pero mas nalito ako ngayon kasi may pros and cons din pala ang paggamit ng car cover. Akala ko necessity siya nung una.

any quick detailer will do, it will soften the droppings and easy to wipe off. try mo mga available products like meguiar, mother's, sonax, pwede rin yung turtle wax bug and tar remover o kaya no rinse wash products (like optimum no rinse) diluted sa water. re-apply wax sa area na pinagtanggalan ng poop for protection.

baka may kasama na abrasive material yung poop, dumikit sa tissue at naipunas kaya gumasgas sa paint.

MOST bird poop is abrasive, especially the seed eaters. why? because birds don't have teeth. they have what is called a gullet or "balumbalunan" where they grind the food they eat. they "eat" sand and small pebbles and this is what grinds their food in the gullet. you can observe this especially with pigeons "eating" sand on a river bank. this same sand and pebbles of course take the same course of exit as the food waste. that is why you never rub off bird poop on a car. you soften it with water or whatever liquid you have at hand and wash it off.

Ok pantanggal ng bird poop iyong turtle wax bug and tar remover. Isang spray lang, wait a minute or two for it to turn into mush, and then pwedeng pwede na siya punasan softly w/o any problems

Madali pa istash lang sa trunk niyo since hindj sya naka pressurized container. No worries for it to explode needlessly on hot blistering summer days

Thanks! I just couldn't stop thinking of the XV. I've yet to test drive the 2018 XV as I'm currently out of town but I couldn't risk not having one unit reserved for me. I like the Civic RS Turbo too but the features of the new XV are just more appealing to me.
How much does a good waxing approximately cost for a CUV?
I'm sorry, like I said I'm a car noob so I don't understand most of what you just said in your post I'd rather pay for my car to be serviced rather than doing maintaining the paint manually though.
So I take it that Ceramic is better than Glass coating because it's more expensive?

55K is super expensive for that coating. If you shop around, you can get a 2 year treatment done for 10-15k, home service.

I agree. What do you mean by "treatment"?

    *all

So I take it most people here don't use car covers?

    Hi,

By treatment I mean that exact same thing they're charging 55K for.
