    I have a DMCI condo too .....

No parking though ... We use it as a crash pad if I get too drunk to drive!

Ok, you should have bought a covered parking lot...

My wife almost did the same mistake since the agent insists that it would be easier to park outside, for new drivers...

This was an informed decision on my part. The difference between the open and covered parking is 300K and that's something I'm not willing to spend for.

Although somewhat connected to the topic, I feel that we're straying a bit off ;)

So you bought the street parking. I got 2 - 1 basement (covered) and 1 street parking. I regret buying the street parking although cheaper siya.

Which project are you at? Nasa Acacia ako sa Taguig.

I got my tint free when I pulled out the unit from MI BGC. Solar guard dark at the sides and back and medium on the windshield. So far so good.

Don't event start mentioning traffic. It's just the worst!

Anyway, I'm interested in the Ceramic tint as it has all the advantages of magic tint but doesn't interfere with RF signals. Motor Image doesn't offer this as a freebie though but I don't know if there's an option to do an "upgrade". I tried asking my SA but I haven't received any replies yet, so I figured I fire away and ask here.

I also stumbled upon LA Accessories and was interested in their air-conditioned tint room. I'm not sure if that matters during installation but it looks like it does. If I opt to not get the free tint from the dealership, will they compensate me with other freebies? Or will I just be throwing away that tint freebie?

When you say WS, are you also referring to the rear windshield/window?

What made you not like the aesthetics of magic tint? How does it look like from the outside and inside?
From my experience, visibility of K14 is still good enough even for windshield use. But if you wanna be safe about it, maybe you can get Quantum 19 on the front windshield and Quantum 14 for the rest.

This is what K14 looks like wrapped around:

When I say windshield, I only mean the front windshield. You don't need light tint for the rest of the car.

What I don't like about magic tint is it gets reflective sometimes:

That was my car before I went back to sedans because pickups are too bulky for city driving and I don't really use the bed.

Will be getting the XV as well. Went for the medium tint wraparound and elected to keep the windshield tint free; I find it difficult to drive at night if the WS is tinted.

IMHO, I find the look of reflective/mirror-like tints a tad cheap.. to each his own though, that's just my two cents.

Anyway, riding off this topic: I'm getting base XV (no back-up camera) so I would like to have one installed. Any recommendations where to get it? Any idea how much it should cost?

There are lot to do before buying a new car. But the most important things is to see the reviews and price. Also car reliability is most important.

Aw, bummer. You could use the bed for something else other than city driving. ;)

Like what, dreamur? Maybe you can share with our fellow pickup truck owners on more important uses of the flatbed.

After buying a car,- I'd drive it everyday,- hataw mode! Yeah!

Normally,- should come with casa-installed tint... Make sure it will last you a good number of years,- you may want to pay premium for this.

Don't let it be a million-peso paper weight in your garage. Price of petrol ? Don't even think about it....

Change the horn,- should be loud and clear for everyone to hear you, not meep meep.....

Change the headlights, as necessary,- if halogen,- maybe shift to Philips Xtreme or Osram Nightbreaker.... If already HID or LED,- then leave them as they are. Don't overdo this,- respect your fellow motorists at night.

    Install a dashcam....

Buy village stickers if you're from SouthMM,- deym these "feeling exclusive" villages... hehehe

If you have the moolah and you want it (I don't for both),- change your wheels.....
