Guys. Just wanna get your opinion. I saw bank repossessed car from fb page na plano ko sana bilhin, I checked the unit personally, looks fine naman.

But one thing that bothers me is, sobrang tagal ko na kasing nakikita yun sa marketplace. Curious ako ba’t walang kumukuna til now. Samantalang yung mga kasabayan nya na same unit is already sold na.

Is there anything wrong in buying repossessed car from bank?

You have to check personally the repo cars on the lot. As-is, where-is basis yung repo cars. Some are quite good finds.

Yes sir, looks okay naman siya. What bothers me is that bakit walang bumibili sa kanya. Kaya nagaalangan din ako kunin. Baka may something sa unit. Haha

I had an aunt who bought a repossessed 2011 Carnival back in 2015. It had only 28tkms mileage and was selling for 660k, yet no one was taking it because there was some damage on the front bumper and, I think, also one of the doors. In the end, they had it repainted, so my aunt took it. By that time it had alternator problems, the battery needed replacing, and the aircon filter was so clogged, there was hardly any air coming out of the vents. All of those were easily remedied though. Even the alternator didn't require full replacement. Still runs well to this day.

Yes, well, maalikabok ang lot nila and it has been sitting there for months. Wouldn't be surprised. Actually, binugahan lang nila ang aircon filter, bumalik kaagad yung hangin. Oh, and fuel filter was overdue for replacement. Check engine light comes on during heavy acceleration, and it goes to limp mode, and is gone when engine is restarted. No error codes.

Suzuki Celerio to be exact, and yea I admit the price is much higher compare to other (I saw before 300k ang price range) 320k siya if financing.

I guess so. But anyway, maybe I need a trusted mechanic to check it again before making a final decision. Thanks guys!

He got 2018 Honda Civic 1.8E.

Ano input nyo sir if lalabas na 2019 this June or July? Wait for it or go for 2018 with discount. Magtataas din daw ang Honda around 1% to 1.5% starting July 1, 2019.
