What to buy for a 1st timer like me?

My wife's coworker got the Rush for her company car and they are complaining about its gas consumption. Parang CRV gas daw yung consumption.

my opinion is it's always better to buy a car with more power than you need

bro bakit nga ganun, yun boss ni gf may brv (wife) and rush(his). ramdam nya mahina yung rush, kahit pareho 1.5L and almost same specs naman.

Bro, don't expect too much from a heavy platform (Rush) powered by an underpowered engine paired with an old 4AT tranny. Honda's 1.5L engine has mre than 15% power and 10% more torque than Toyota's 1.5L engine.

The Vios will be ok with the 1.5L engine but with a bigger platform, you won't get the same performance and you will get worse fuel consumption.

Among the choices of ManicCompressio, the City 1.5E is the most practical choice.

Kaso hindi trip yang bagong itsura ng 2019 vios. Medyo ganun din sa Altis. Sana yung design ng Corolla nalang.

May kaibigan ako bumili ng Mobilio, pamalit sa Avanza, hindi raw maganda pag lumiko, masyado mahaba. Looks wise, d ko rin trip, likewise BRV.

Yung Rush ayos ang design - pero hindi okay sa FC tama ba? Same with Avanza?

From this list I'd go with the City. I know of quite a few accomplished doctors and businessmen who got this as their daily driver. Having driven the Jazz, I have to say quality is certainly not lacking.

Considering the unpredictability of the rainy season though, my family has not purchased a sedan since 2011. While I dislike the Mobilio's looks, the BRV is fine by me.

As they say, the Rush cannot be rushed. [emoji28] A waste really since it actually looks good, and might even be worthy of AWD application, if coupled with a better, preferably diesel, engine.

Ever considered the Suzuki Vitara? 913k for the GL AT.

From this list I'd go with the City. I know of quite a few accomplished doctors and businessmen who got this as their daily driver. Having driven the Jazz, I have to say quality is certainly not lacking.

In terms of reliability, aftersales, maintaintenance, ano ba difference ng City sa Vios?

Yung dagdag price sa July, sa Honda yata yun, mukang hindi pala tungkol excise tax.

Ang Altis dito sa Pilipinas 11th gen / E170? May balita na ba regarding sa 12th gen E210? Baka yan reason binigyan ako agad 100k discount para sa Vios E. Pag 12th gen, masaya ako mag bayad pa additional 100k para Altis na.

Di puwede kasi Innova na yun. Nakakalimutan ng iba na may gas option para sa Innova, 2.0L gas engine na same ata sa 2.0L engine ng Altis.

Wala ata turbo gas option yung Toyota, even in other countries. Yung alam kong turbo gas na Toyota ay yung sa Lexus cars.

It is good that Toyota is recalling. Unlike others.
Suzuki on some of its variants i think have automated manual (amt) which is still unproven.

Hi Sir.. Kung sa Taytay Rizal area ka.. Yung Suzuki Vitara GLX Taytay Dealership na halos kakadeliver lang sakin, April ako nag transact meron ₱75K discount.. Not sure pero may nabasa ako kaya nila ata hanggang ₱100K discount daw this month..

About FC based sa nabasa ko sa thread dito sa tsikot ok naman po yung review for Vitara.. Mostly na nakikita ko 10km/L po sa City Driving..

Eto po yung isang source though November 2017 pa ito na publish.. And yung important daw na ni-consider dito is yung ginamit ay.. "All gasoline vehicles were powered by Petron XCS which is 95 Octane and diesel-fed entries by Petron Turbo Diesel."

Kung ano man unit mabili mo, make sure palit lahat fluids and filter as soon as possible. Kung vios naman bilhin mo, dalhin mo sa dadudz autoworks. Sobrang kabisado nila vios up to the last bolt
