Procedure of Change of Ownership

alam ko may pagkakaiba. for one, mas madaming hihingiing documents like tariffs, custom-related, etc.

aside from customs related documents, is there any other difference?

Our ride is officially fully paid as of yesterday. Got the orig CR and deed of sale from the creditor yesterday.

Problem is, the car is still registered in Ilocos even though it's under the creditor's name. I might have to shell out almost 5k just to have the car transferred to my name. Two years ago when the car's ownership was transferred from the dealer to the creditor I seem to remember paying that same amount for a non-appearance transfer. Oh joy.

Gusto ko lang maclarify ang process na gagawin ko. I bought a 2nd hand car (1st owned) Pero ang binilhan ko ay di na yung owner, pinabenta nung owner sa kumpare nya, para maging legal daw na puedeng ibenta nung kumpare ay nag-issue yung original owner ng deed of absolute sale sa kumpare nya. so lumalabas na pang 3rd owner na ako pero di naman inilipat nung 2nd owner yung name sa kanya kasi 1 week lang halos ang pagitan bago ko nabili.Complete naman documents, deed of sale, orig OR/CR at walang problema naman sa match ng motor/chassis numbers sa OR/CR.

Balak ko mag paclearance at change ownership this week. ang orig cr ay sa Paranaque while yung last registration ay sa las pinas.tanong ko lang:

1.after pnp clearance ay change of ownership na gawin ko.saan ko gagawin yun? sa paranaque ba kasi dun yung CR?

2. tapos renew ko na rin sya after ma-change ang ownership sa akin, san ako magrerenew ng lto registration, sa las pinas or kahit saang lto?

Help with Cebu Papers..

I wanted to buy a car from cebu, but there are rumors that cars that came from there are underpaid in tax.. im from bulacan, i would like to transfer the ownership and place of registration here in bulacan right after i bought it..

can anyone help me kung ano first step ko para malaman ko that the car im getting has no tax problems? the seller had emailed me a copy of OR/CR

i want to make sure that the car has no paper problems before i buy it..

up ko lang po ito because i have the same concern now because i need to transfer the ownership of our civic. i will get the pnp clearance this afternoon.

the car's original CR is in taguig (dont know where taguig LTO is) but the last registration was in las pinas. considering that we paid a small amount for change of venue when we registered last year in las pinas, haven't they transferred the CR to LTO las pinas so that change of ownership (new CR) can be issued by the new venue in las pinas?

you can register your car at any lto branch nationwide. but if you will register your car at an lto branch other than the last registration, you will just pay a change of venue fee of 100. if you registered in lto las pinas last year, and you will again register at the same lto las pinas this year, no more change of venue fee.

yes, you need that prior to the notarization of the deed of sale contract.

ok na yung naka state sa deed of sale yung cedula number nya + date issued + location issued. and during the notarization, maski ikaw na lang magpanotaryo o iutos mo na lang. no need to be both physically present.

Kailangan pa ring makuha ang CR sa Taguig. Either the LTO in Las Pinas will request it (office-to-office), which will take months, or ikaw ang magdala ng request sa Taguig para makuha mo personally.

Case:

Yung car na nabili ko, sa Lapu Lapu City yung address ng CR, last OR sa Imus LTO. Since mura yung bili ko and sa kabarkada ko nabili yung car, pumayag na ko kahit walang deed of sale and since nakuha nya yung car, di pa natransfer sa name nya, so sa original owner pa rin nakapangalan yung car. Ang problema, taga Lapu Lapu City yung may ari and Japanese pa.

Question:

Kelangan ko pa ba talaga pumunta ng Lapu Lapu City para sa LTO confirmation for transfer of ownership or pwede kahit sa LTO Main na lang (taga Batangas po ako)?

guys,consult ko lang, dami work di ko mabasa buong thread:

meron referral bro ko naglakad ng reg nya, owns an auto insurance shop, ang kita nya dun lang sa insurance.anyways, nagpaquote ako sabay change of ownership + reg renewal, sabi nya 3k+ for the renewal, and separate 3.5k for change ownership(!?)...ung rehistro sounds legit, coz me non-appearance pa and the emission testing and all. pero medyo fishy ung change ownership. what do you think? paging sir happy_gilmore TIA
